Clay's blog? Too little too late, I fear. Should of been done when the trashing of his ATDW CD was going on. Along with all the conspiracy theories. He should of put his foot down and nipped rumors in the bud from the get go. He might not of lost so many good fans from his OFC, if he had of. The only way, now, he is going to put a stop to all that RCA and marketing shit, is to close down the message board. Before any new members pay good money to join and stumble upon that den of looney tunes, he is talking to. They are NOT fans. Not even remotely. The behavior of the people he is addressing doesn't match up with true fan behavior. JMHO and all that. I think I have od'ed on Falling and Ashes. His voice is so phenominal on this CD. I think it is his best effort, by far. I also still love Broken Wings and If You Don't Know Me By Now. From his last ATDW, too. They were my two favorites until now. HeeHee. I think he and kipper did a great job. I also agree with whoever said that Clay used Jaymes as a way to set up an opportunity for him to blog about the ongoing problem at OFC with these handful of shit stirrers. As one would expect, his words fell on deaf ears. They can't recognize themselves, you think? Nah, they recognize themselves, they just don't care because they aren't real fans..............They should be banned if they continue to carry on. However, I wouldn't count on the mods to do the right thing. Is there clack of The View up yet? Also where is the link to Clay singing the bonus i-tunes song on YouTube?

Bought my Wal-Mart CD with the bonus song. It's gooood. I'm impressed. I think, though, I have to joing KAndre in the "Falling" lovefest. I just found out the K-Mart in my town no longer carries CDs, at all, and I can't get Clay tomorrow. I was shopping for a couple of other people too. HELP ANYONE?

Oh honey if you only knew. I'm so happy!!! I caved and listened to the full cd. So far I llike all the songs with the exception of a few. I just can't get into Something About Us....He sings it real purdy, he does. BUT, it is what I call a lounge lizard song. I don't care for that type of music. Not crazy about The Real Me either. I think LAA fits better in this theme, but I'm still not crazy about the music for it.. I can't tell a difference. It does sound the same. I'm going to have to listen to EIDN a bit more to decide on it. I really, really like these songs immediately when I first heard them. Meaning they won't have to grow on me. Some real nice hooks: 1. Falling 2. Ashes 3. Where I Draw The Line 4. Weight Of the World 5. As Long As We're Here 6. Grace Of God I also think Falling and Ashes are the radio hits to go for. I love the range he is singing in. Is that Clay Aiken? Speaking of radio, OMWH has made it from the spincrease chart to the taking off chart. For anyone who is interested.

This experience will stay with Clay fans for the rest of our lives. In fact it reminds me of a song. Memories light the corners of my mind. Misty water color memories of the way we were. I know you all aren't into following his single on radio. However, these stations are playing Clay for anyone who lives in these areas, and are interested. Mainly overnight, in some, but a couple are doing afternoon spins. I don't know if any of these stations stream or not. I had a great early birthdy lunch today. Given by one of my best friends. We had huge split crab legs, sweet corn on the cob, an avocado salad, with Rum cake and ice cream for desert. I got nice presents and a bunch of starters of different plants etc for my yard. Vinca, and Ajuga, and red cannas. I think I might of also got tipsy on Pinot Grigio. Life is wonderful today. They sure are using some unusual promo vehicles. I will be honest here. As much as I am looking forward to the CD, I am a bit wary about the fandoms reaction. I am actually expecting lower opening week numbers just because that is the general trend nowadays. I don't think they will just give up on promoting this CD, I think there will be other waves of promo after Clay has taken a break. This is his livelihood, other than UNICEF and BAF projects...what else will he focus on? I also think they will treat this very differently than ATDW. That was more a niche album for Clay, but I believe clay is more invested in this project. I do hope it will reach at Platinum sales but I don;t think it will happen right away. I agree. I think it might go Gold, then peter off for awhile. Perhaps around 200,000 in first week sales. as to whether it will continue on and go platinum? I think it will depend on radio play being successful and him having at least 2-3 hit singles off it. It appears to me that the label is going to support it to radio this time. I do think Clay and his label have given 1st week sales a good chance at a good showing. They made sure they had so many different CDs for his hard core fans to buy. The K-Mart one with the poster. The i-tunes one with a bonus song. The QVC one with the video and extra MOAM songs. The Wal-Mart issue with a another different bonus song on it. That has to help. I might have to try your suggestion Ansamcw. Go to their website and rewatch all the new episodes. I guess what bothers me the most is that I can't remember from one episode to the other what the storyline is. Nothing is flowing for me. I still love the show and wouldn't miss a thing, but I just find it more difficult to follow along with it. Too disjointed or something.

How do people know this stuff? Hee. I can hardly keep up with Clay's schedule! I can't imagine Clay having a pool with his fear of water. I am so lost on Lost. I thought they had 8 new episodes for us to watch, while the writers were on strike!!! Seemed to me we only got about 4 and then they went on another hiatus. WTH? The constant interuptions and the wrters strike has totally ruined the flow of the show. It is getting harder and harder to keep up with for me. I will definitely have to buy the entire season on cd just to figure out what is going on. Geeze Louise people..........

This statement seems to contradict this statement below. I'm going to go see One Republic, for no other reason than Ryan Tedder wrote Clay's single on this new CD. Plus I love the song Apologize and Stop and Stare. Other than that I don't know a thing about them. The ticket is only $35.00. I wouldn't pay the ticket price Clay demands to go see them, though. In fact there are only a couple of artists or groups that I would pay over $100.00 to see in concert. Couchie I am thrilled that you got to go to Broadway Cares. Too bad about your friends Spamalot show being ruined. I'm surprised some of Clay's fans have not resorted to violence with them by now. I think if it is a real problem then Clay should address it by having them banned from his performances. Why he hasn't by now is a mystery. I have a 4 day weekend from work. It is going to be a busy one. Planting some bulbs today in the new flowerbed hubby did for me. Some beautiful pink Asian lilies and some purple and yellow gladiolas. Salmon colored Daylilies, some pretty cannas and Dutch Iris. Funeral tomorrow afternoon. Then late afternoon having a cookout here for the kids. My son is now a first time home owner. He and his family are so excited. Then Sunday an early birthday lunch for me at one of my girlfriends house. That means good food and presents. Faye and I almost have a connection. Her birthday is on the 3rd and mine is the 8th. Only I think she is going on a birthday cruise. That's why she won't be doing Clay's closing night performance. Lots of good things coming up for Clay.
