What I 'make out of that' is thoroughly insulting, both to Jaymes and to Clay. Only you know what you intended. I don't have a problem with you not liking Jaymes and not being thrilled about this rumor, Clayzorback. My problem was with the way you choose to express that opinion, in what I feel is a derogatory way not only toward Jaymes, but also toward Clay. All kinds of motives will be attributed to them for taking this step, if indeed any of it is true, and no doubt they anticipated ungenerous reactions. If there IS to be a baby, there's no doubt in my mind that Clay will consider this becoming a father "for real" and for the "right reasons"...not following a celebrity fad, hooking up with a cougar, trying to be a cool kid or to gain publicity for himself. Laughing emoticons aside, I think attributing those motives to either of them is...(insert negative descriptor here). While writing this, I see you posted again: Again, it is not your shock and surprise about Jaymes that feels disrespectful to me, but describing her as not 'equal to his status and standing'...someone "less than" those other women Clay could have...a cougar...a means to a publicity end...downgrading...following the pregnancy fad...not lover/wedding material...of no account (what has she done besides produce cds). Hey, I don't know her. Don't know much of anything about her. But somehow I doubt Clay agrees with your assessment of her worth, whether they are actually having a baby together or not. Describing either of them in those ways, in my opinion, does both of them a disservice. I don't take offense easily and I'm not good at confrontation, so yeah. That's all. You know what? I find your post to me more revolting and insulting than anything I said about Jaymes and Clay's supposed parenthood. In fact I find it downright disrespectful. I don't have a problem with younger guys with older women, couchie. I've been lusting him for years. I don't have a problem with a friend donating sperm. I don't have a problem with Clay being a daddy, if that is what he wants. I don't have a problem with any of it. I just can't ship them together and I find it an odd pairing. I always find it interesting to see who people pair up with. I love celebrity gossip etc. When you think about all the women Clay could have or get, though, I just find it odd that he would choose Jaymes. I know he isn't the superstar we think he is but he is a big celebrity and one would assume him to pair up with someone of equal status and standing. Nothing personal was meant against Jaymes. However I will confess to not being a huge fan of her or her brother David. Clay's friends do not have to be my friends, do they? People shouldn't make any more out of that than was intended. Like I said, I'm still processing and musing and talking out loud, I suppose you could say.

Jaymes Foster? Forgive me, but I'm still trying to process that....... True or not? That is the 6 million dollar question of the day. Actually, I would not be too surprised if it were. Celebrities are really into the "having and adopting babies" fad. Fad is what I call it, anyway. A lot of female celebrities are preggers. I've lost count of how many kids the "Brangelina" brand has adopted, and she is also expecting her own. It's "The Thing To Do" right now. Last year they all had to have small lap dogs to carry around. Add in the Young male celebs hooking up with cougars and walla. Clay is just keeping up with the Jones. I seriously can not ship the two together. I know it's been keepingfaith's fantasy for awhile, but Jaymes Foster? I mean seriously, what has she done besides produce Clay's CD? It just seems to me that would be sort of like, well, downgrading. Friends I can see, but not lovers or wedding material. Not trying to bad mouth her, but really, it just strikes me as an odd pairing. However, I can't be all that bent out of shape about it. It's his life not mine. I would just hope that if and when he ever becomes a father, for real, that it is for all the right reasons and not for publicity, or to enhance his chances of becoming one of the "cool" kids. I agree wholeheartedly..........I think Faye has done a tremendous job raising Clay. I also don't think she should be fodder for discussion. JMO and all. The best favor he could do for himself is to close down his OFC messageboard and stop reading his fans altogether. The only way I see for him to keep his sanity. I love Ashes, Falling, and WIDTL along with a couple of others. Least favorites are still TRM, SL, SAU. It's Summer time. Why are people not outdoors enjoying it? sheila that was funny watching the crowd wasn't it. They totally did not engage with the opening act. People milled around all over the place when both groups were playing. We even had guys over at the porta potties playing with some small rubber ball or something. Like they were practicing for soccer. Elvis, Omaha, one of the last concerts he gave. He had got terribly fat by then. It was one of my favorite concerts. I was not a concert goer in my youth. I mainly have seen country artists in concert here. Willie Nelson, Rascall Flatts, some older acts that have long gone. Like Charlie Rich and some I can't remember. I did see Paul Revere and The Raiders. I believe that is my first concert experience. Saw The Eagles and Hall and Oates recently. Probably more groups, but my brain is fuzzy.

You won't believe this but sheiladownunder and I were sitting here, at my house, drinking these martinis when you posted this trip down memory lane. We had two apiece. What a fun trip that was. I had a ball meeting you, your sister, and ldyjopcelyn. Fun meeting karen'eh,atinal, thanks again for the keychain. I got to meet lots of people that trip but only briefly. Sorry I can't remember everyone of them's names. Please don't feel slighted, I'm just forgetful. Didn't get to spend any time with them. Like merrieeee, solo, and KAndre as she was leaving the table to go get dirnks. I've met lots fans, patty2sink and her daughter and grandson, some fellow Arkansas fans. I even briefly got to meet the infamous Scarlett, who I think is just the cutest, petite, little dynamo. Sheiladownunder came over to go see One Republic with me Friday night. We went to eat at Market Place Grill first. Concert was fun, but the acoustics are not very good for outdoor amphitheaters. They didn't have the same energy that Clay exudes. Ryan Tedder came out on crutches because he had hurt his Achillees? tendon. My sister and her two daughters and grand daughter were there. My neice got to win a meet and greet for winning the best poster contest and got two autographed 8x10 glossies of the band. The grandaughter got to get a meet and greet too, for submitting the best poem. Radio contests. They were all so excited about that. Then sheila and I came home had a couple of drinks and stayed up untill after 1, playing catch up. We slept in, then we went over to Eureka Springs Saturday. Only there was constuction going on and I missed my turnoff and we went probably about 20 miles the wrong direction. If you are going to get lost going someplace you've been 50 times before, it is good to get lost with great company. Coming home was no problem. We opened the moonroof, the windows and cranked Ashes and Fallen out the CD player, at full volume. Wind blowing in our hair, wearing our cool sunglasses and feeling like we were 16 again. God what a high. It was exhilarating. I talked her into staying Saturday night with me too, and now she is gone. Sniff, sniff. You did good. Thanks for the shoutouts. I don't believe I ever said that Hillary doesn't or wouldn't resort to tricks or lies. That is part of what makes a great politician great, isn't it? Knowing how to play the game? No body knows politics better than the Clintons. They are brilliant at it. What I believe I have stated, a couple of times, is that a politician is a politician. They are all alike and will do what is necessary to win. I said that includes Hillary, McCain and Obama as well. I said Obama's hands are not clean either, not that Hillary's wasn't dirty. None of them are going to walk into the white house and reach across the aisles and make everything nicey nice and better, overnight or even in the next 4 years. It's going to take more than just having a democrat win this election, to make changes. IMHO As for why Biden didn't get any delegates, I would assume it is because he dropped out very early in the game. Like you said, timing is everything, and this wasn't his time and he realized that. My gripe is about fairness and a level playing field. I already was going to support Hillary, but when I really embraced her was when Obama's people started right off with Ferraro. Twisting her words around and using the race card. They did it again with both Bill and Hillary. The DNC never stood up for Hillary. One of their own party nominees. Then you had the Liberal media choosing Obama (because he is the most liberal democrat out there) as their winner and then set about to serve the kool aid to the public, who eagerly drank it. Manipulation, spin, subliminal messaging. Until they had all of America thinking he is the 2nd coming. They have never even vetted him. Where as Hillary has had to produce her personal tax records. Why? They haven't been in office for years. Even every victory and huge win she gets has been downplayed and ignored. The liberal media and Obama's team have been running around acting like they are the winners from the start practically. Totally ignoring that Hillary is still in the running. It is unbecoming and insulting to the millions of supporters of Hillary Clinton. Of which Obama is going to need this fall. The last poll I remember showed 35 per cent of her supporters would vote for McCain and 16 percent would stay home. If she isn't the nominee or his VP running mate, because she wants to be, I will be in that 16 per cent staying home and people can think what they want of me. Hillary has made changes in her staff. If I remember correctly Obama got rid of someone too. Some guy making deals with somebody he shouldn't have. Yes Hillary is responsible for how her campaign is run and so is Barack. So is McCain. It's politics. It happens every election. Yes Hillary is hoping to sway the superdelegates into choosing her. Last I heard Obama was having several meetings of his own trying to sway the delegates. Neither one of them could of won without the super delegates. So why not let the race go on? They won't back Hillary, though. IMHO the reason they won't is they are afraid of losing Obamas supporters from the party and worried about them rioting or some such nonsense. Well, they better worry about all those voters in Florida and Michigan being lost to our party and voting for MCain in the Fall. I am not the rseident expert but I have eyes and ears too. Everything is subjective but I strongly disagree with you that she has been treated fairly. Politics and religion is too divisive and that is why I usually never discuss it with anyone except like minded people. I think this being the historical event of a lifetime warrants Hillary staying in so that all 50 states can participate and vote for their candidate and be a part of this history making.
