  1. FromClaygary... well... what about the curiousity of us non-Canadians. Who the heck is Robert Picton and why might you never sleep again??? Inquiring minds want to know... I'm not sure if it would have been in your news....about 2 years ago....the pig farmer out in British Columbia who killed about 100 street people....and fed them to his pigs? True story...done on Criminal Minds tonight, graphically, with I'd say a pretty accurate depiction of the story. Don't want to spoil it for anyone for whom it comes on later....don't watch if you may not be able to hack it!! Dead cinch I'll never eat pork again!! The street people he murdered were women. Sex workers from the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver had been going missing for years and it took years for the police to take any action. IMO it was because these women were street walkers and therefore considered disposable.

  3. Hey I did not say that his TMJ surgery was cosmetic. That was a very necessary surgery for him. And yes I understand what you all are saying about having to look good if you are in the public eye but I just did not realize that that was so important to Clay. And we all have different ideas of what is attractive in a man and personally I preferred the way his face looked when he was on ANTM. I just hope I get used to the new look very soon.
  4. Since there are people who are not fans of Clay reading the boards and belonging to OFC I wonder how long it will take before the tabloids start in on his under the chin liposuction. I never thought that Clay would have what amounts to cosmetic surgery so I am feeling a little shocked. Apparently there is still some swelling in his face but since the surgeon broke and repositioned his jaw I am thinking that Clay of the oval/round jaw may be transformed into square jawed Clay. Funny what a difference that makes to the sexy for me. I will still love him for his wonderful qualities and beautiful voice and I do hope that as I get used to his different look the sexy will return.
  5. Notacanuck at CH Just Jared has new pics of Clay walking with a mystery guy. Along with posting his blog from yesterday. Clay Aiken channels Mother Teresa
  6. Scarlett I just watched your America video...Wow..thank you. I hadn't realized how much Clay actually did sing during that performance.
  7. There are Getty images of the concert but I don't know how to make the link to them.
  8. Oh Scarlett the whole experience sounds wonderful and all too brief. How easy was it to upgraded your tickets? I'm curious, never having had that experience. And from CV and dancermom
  9. Thank you Scarlett for the great Clack. It was a nice surprise to find it waiting this morning. How great it is to see OMC looking so relaxed and happy and singing again. Butterflyshine at OFC posted that she had a voice mail on her phone of UM and it was incredible. If anyone knows how she can get it off her phone and into an MP3 that can be posted, for the sake of us all, please let her know. From Oldmoviegal at CH
  10. Peter Cincotti? Yep. David Foster produced his last album.
  11. Eeeee just over 2 1/2 hours til the concert starts. I can hardly wait!! I am so anticipating all the recaps. What a nice surprise to come back from lunch with friends, an early birthday treat, to find that Clay had answered more questions. Until today, I had never heard of Peter Cincotti and hadn't registered that he is playing tonight. Now, thanks to nanjeanne and Clay, I've listened to his Goodbye Philadelphia and I want to hear more of his songs. I love that being a fan of Clay Aiken has introduced me to so many singers I was totally unaware of before.
  12. During Season 2 of AI did the judges give OTT praise to Ruben the way they are giving praise to Adam? Calling him a rock god seems just too much to me and really it's like he is already the winner. I do think that Adam has great stage presence, after all he is an actor, charisma and a great voice. I could do without quite so much of his prolonged high notes and the tongue thing is off putting for me. Like put that back in...now! WinkAtMe at CV wrote:
  13. Wow! Spectacle is right. The music seems all so similar but if I understood French perhaps I would get more out of it. Her fans obviously adore her and look like they've memorized all her songs. Something that I noticed it this video and in the videos of from last night's performance is that the dancing is not exciting...a lot of walking about and arm movements...not something that would be challenging for Reed. merieee oh very nice ending.
  14. I'm a little obsessive some times when it comes to Clack. I have been collecting all the Q&A from OFC and this morning I spend way too long here, when the laundry needs doing, numbering them. I am pleased to report that so far Clay has answered 234+or- questions. 234 !!!
  15. Clay answered more questions this morning starting at post #4452.
  16. Just back from my Thursday nite TV marathon of Bones, Grey's Anatomy and Private Practise came back and saw I'd been logged on all this time. GGAM the way Private Practise ended the season?...arghhh!!! Anyway I hope all of you who go to Las Vegas will take binoculars and can come back and tell us all how fine our boyfriend looks and sings. And Couchie I'm sure there will be lots of recaps and I'm sorry I won't be seeing you. Are you planning on going to the Gala?
  17. Sigh! After giving it a lot of thought, I have decided not to go to Las Vegas. I am hoping that I will be able to manage to go to the Gala instead. I certainly can't do both. Lordy I hope I don't regret this. Who knows maybe it will be taped and shown on PBS.

  19. The following is from the Mandalay Hotel web site Bolding mine
  20. Thanks for setting that up, Couchie. BTW There are seats available at sites other than the Manadalay or Ticketmaster that are closer to the stage but they are, of course, like $240.00! Clay is back answering questions on page 341...no post # mentioned in the post at CH ETA post # 3407
  21. Lotus is going and is wanting hotel recommendations. There are so many.
  22. You can start one Lotus. Soooo wonder why I got put on standby. I must be on the list I'm taking it as a sign..and if I get a ticket I'll think about going and if not.. my mom will enjoy my presence on Mother's Day. Help...I don't know how to start one.
  23. I am all twitterpated!! I just got a ticket...Lordy I will need binoculars to see him. Now to get plane tickets. Will we have a thread here of people attending?
  24. Okay peeps...is this for real? Where on OFC is the announcement? I want to go.
  25. So who from here is going to go? I want to and would like some company, having never been to Vegas before.
