  1. Woo now that's one surprising drool making banner! OT for any Leonard Cohen fan who may be here the video, I presume from the DVD, of the 2 1/2 hour concert in London is available for one week only at Leonard Cohen Live in London A nice feature is that you can choose to watch individual songs if you don't have two and half hours on your hands. :-)
  2. What a sweet looking baby and look....he's being trained in the Clay Aiken style of dressing..stripes!
  3. I only hope that fans stick to Clay's rules for the question thread. It would be lovely if he did feel free to drop in to OFC every so often an answer a few more questions. It should cut down on the anxious "where oh where is he?" questions. I'm not criticizing people who post that they miss him, I certainly do when we haven't heard anything for a while. One of the problems with the question thread is that the posts already number over 2000 and I understand why fans are reluctant to spend the time reading all of them to see if their particular question has already been asked.
  4. And to think that I was only going to check on the boards for a few minutes! Hah! What great idea he and/or Jaymes had tonite and what a lovely gift he gave to us. I wonder how much BAF will get in donations from the downloading of this song.
  5. There is a DVD available now of the London concert...Live in London. Hallelujah from London concert
  6. Oh boy do I wish I could've been there! Can't wait for a report! This morning feeling muzzy headed with this damn cold which now has me in its grip I came across this review of last nights Leonard Cohen concert. It reports much better than I could do even if I weren't feeling this way. GMPlace holds 18,000 people for a hockey game. Last night there was floor seating and the upper boxes were not filled. There were probably 15,000 people at least there. Hallelujah Leonard Cohen Still the Best
  7. good morning FCA i am exhausted, happily so. my daughter and i just walked back to her place from GM place where we saw this amazing, wonderful Leonard Cohen concert. It was 3 hours long and that doesn't include the intermission. just wanted to share that before i stagger off to bed.
  8. Oh I wish I could be with you all at the Gala. It sounds like it will be so much fun. I am still hoping for an opportunity to see Clay in person before the Gala and am hoping that he will announce it before the tickets for the Gala go on sale. There is going to be a stampede for those tickets. From what I've read of other Galas it seems that there is much more of an opportunity to hang out with lots of Clay fans in a way there isn't for a concert. I came across this, this morning.
  9. clazy Are you on Facebook? If so, open your Facebook page and click on this link: Photos on Reed Kelly's public facebook
  10. And now for something completely different. A laugh or two for those of you who have computer problems every so often.
  11. Wow! Does anyone have a larger version of this photo?
  12. I can't get in either. I read yesterday that they have been having some problems. Funny, I have no problem getting into the CV vault. Karen I enjoyed your blog on the way in which Baku movers pack up, especially the kitchen. I hope you get your pictures and wall hanging back. What is a BillyBoy? The picture on the box looks like a cartoon of a juggling penis!
  13. Ah...the blog..or should I say the BLOG. I hesitated before I clicked on "Clay's Page" because I still had a hope that he would be giving us some news concerning his career and I didn't want to give up that hope even though I knew in my heart that he would not be telling us about a tour or a CD or a new show. He gave us news about his career alright, but about a decision made 5 years ago. Sigh! Ah well, on the bright side he is communicating, somewhat, with us. This web site is the Astronomy picture of the Day, which changes daily so if you want to see the moon picture go to the archive link at the bottom of the page. Glad you like it Scarlett.
  14. Someone here, I forget who, likes moon pictures. Here is one of the full moon at Easter near Nice, France. Castle and Moon
  15. Nothing yet but I figure that he's got until the 18th to let us know why he wanted that ticket. By then a week will have passed since he said "I'll explain it all in a week."
  16. In 1999 Susan Boyle sang one song on a CD recorded for charity. It is on youtube. Listening to it gave me goosebumps. Ah! I see it's already been posted.
  17. I really want BOCA and have finally given in and ordered it from amazon.com which means that I end up paying over Canadian $20.00 for something which is selling for US$7.99 in the US. It's a lovely day here and I'm sorry that I am feeling so pissy first thing in the morning. I don't understand the thinking of RCA in supplying so few CD's to stores. Amazon.ca refers me to 2 sellers for the only 2 CD's available both of which would end up costing me more, one of which is already priced at $30.81!!! Meanwhile, I am anticipating this week's news...he does seem to enjoy having fun reading what, to him, is wild speculation as to what that might be.
  18. One of the perks of living on the wet coast is that by the time a show like ANTM is on here, I can just d/l the Clack and skip all the commercials. I hope she got a bump in her ratings tonight. That's all, except Clay was great, yummy in fact, there was just not enough of him and I got really PO'd when Tyra was blocking my view of him. As for ANTM, yep, ACK it is.
  19. Scarlett I missed you and had assumed you were traveling. I'm glad that you are being well taken care of by friends and are on the road to recovery. It must have been pretty serious for you to be in ICU for a few days.
  20. hey people I was just trying to be funny there, which is why I said probably the only French Clay knows is a la mode as in "I want my apple pie a la mode".
  21. I just watched the preview of ANTM and had to listen again to make sure of what I was hearing. Clay says "This is the House of Aiken de la Clay". Now la is the feminine form of the. I am wondering if that was deliberate or just that Clay doesn't know any French except "a la mode". Then again, maybe the gender of the word clay is feminine. Any speakers of French reading here?
  22. Nope, nope, not Clay, for all of the reasons stated above. While the wind was howling and snow blowing back east where my family live, yesterday it was 20C away from the water here on the wet coast. We get 2 days of beautiful weather and then, just in time for the long week end, cloudy with showers and the possibility of a little sunshine on Friday and Monday. I am so ready for warmer weather. Luckiest1 and goldarngirl Thank you so much for the time and skill you put in to making "The Best of Pala" vids. They're already burned to DVD and I had the pleasure of watching on my TV yesterday. So nice to revisit this performance and remember how excited I was to be downloading and watching all the Clack I could. Oh I do miss concert Clay. And for you lovers of images of Clay tongue, in RHW, there is cute one at 2:30 also he holds a note in that song for about 17 seconds on "chance".
  23. I watched Spectacle last night and also really enjoyed it. I too had a fantasy that Clay might be a guest on the show if there is a new season but I expect that the guests will be ones who write their own songs or music and who have been in the music scene for years and are music legends. The show is on CTV.
  24. :icon_smile_feedback: I am repeating this request even if it is to get the reply that none of you found it anywhere in Houston. Please
  25. Hi eHP...can you tell me where in Houston you found BOCA? I am hoping that my daughter who is coming to visit soon will be able to bring one with her. Seems that Amazon.ca has none and, given past performance, isn't likely to get any in.
