  1. I found this on another board and now I don't remember if it was CH or CV. Dang I need another coffee. It is cold here and we are in for many more days of freezing weather. The only good thing is that there will be sunshine and blue skies. My family back east think I'm a wimp when I complain of the the cold but even tho' we do get these temperatures once in a while I'm just not used to -5C (translation: 24F). Gotta go and chop some wood before heading out and doing some shopping before the predicted snow starts falling.
  2. cha cha trusty a moon picture for you. Moonrise behind Mt. Hamilton Luckiest Thanks for the recap and I hope you have a wonderful time tomorrow.
  3. I feel a little sad today despite counting my many blessings this morning. It happens every December now but this time last year I was feeling so full of excitement about going to two Christmas concerts in Minneapolis that there was no space for sadness. I miss seeing him, I really do. If your sky is clear tonight...look up. The moon will be almost as big and bright as it will be tomorrow.
  4. Have a great time Luckiest1 and I hope the sky it clear while you are there because tomorrow night will be the biggest and brightest full moon of the year. Full Moon I look forward to reading the recap of your enthusiastic response to Clay's and the cast's performance . One of the pieces of music on Reed's My Space is by Muse. On their webpage that song has received over 8 million hits. I had no clue who they were until yesterday.
  5. I feel for you KAndre..no really..when we met last month I remember you felt cold and the temperature was 75F and I was thinking how balmy, how warm it was. At least on Sunday things are supposed to be better for you all...a high of 72F In the meantime do you have any warm woolly sox? I just got back from a walk on the beach because today was sunny in the afternoon...yeah! I only needed 3 layers of clothing to feel warm. The sun had set behind low clouds, the sky tourquoise, the contrails golden and the light wispy clouds in the east already turning pink. I watched a loon catching its evening meal and felt so grateful for this day. As Clay would say I sound like a Miss America contestant. clayzycoffin Where did you get that photo or did you photoshop the glasses on? Anyway I like it..it's sexy..right click and save.
  6. Now what magazine was it that had a story which stated that Clay was the loneliest person in Hollywood? I think it was in one of the Leno interviews and Clay said to the audience. "Don't buy it. It's smut!" Yes master...I......will......not......buy....that smutty Star rag. Besides it's not the kind of smutting I'm interested in. Welcome smitten you will like it here. Although I regularly read CV and CH I now consider this my neighbourhood board.
  7. Where do these rags get their information? They all sit around a table and just speculate until they finally come up with Clay and Reed have custody of Parker and will have a nanny? I wonder how that "story" will evolve. Damn! I wonder how the homophobes will react to that. I receive notices from "In the Life" a programme on PBS on the GLT community and heard this. Focus on the Family alone spent almost a quarter of a billion dollars on anti-gay messages sent to 7000 radio stations in the U.S.
  8. keepingfaith I for one am just happy that Clay can now date someone without having to hide it. But oh my lord...the story is everywhere now.
  9. Bringing this link over from CV. This interview was on a dance website and I don't know the date except that Reed was in LA at the time. He sounds like an very intelligent, informed young man who father happened to be the mayor of St. Paul at the time of the interview. Susy Miller Fuentes interview Reed Kelly
  10. It's late and you all are probably fast asleep but I just have to tell you that I've been watching So You Think You Can Dance Canada and tonite was the finale. I don't think you can get the show in the States but there are lots of videos on YouTube and if you love dancing then watch them. Here is one link to give you an idea of the quality of the dancers. Lisa and Nico Jazz Funk Watch it in high quality. They as well as the rest of the top ten are amazing dancers. Says Lotus who knows so little about dance.
  11. ldyjocelyn Thanks for the pretty pictures. I loved his hair in the last one but I can totally understand him wanting a hairstyle that is easy to take care of. Gibby I sent the Doghouse video to my brother who replied telling me that he had once given my SIL a wok for Christmas but inside he had wisely placed a pair of diamond earrings. The discussion of Clay's "lying" has been going on for yet another day over at the CH. For those of you who don't read there regularly I just wanted to let you know that berkeley posted at 1:26 GMT a very long and thoughtful piece on the whole discussion that is well worth reading. I have it saved to my Fan writings folder if anyone wants it PM'd to them. ETA berkely's post is #2482 at CV
  12. What? Did no one enjoy the Doghouse? And another OT item which I couldn't resist posting Smile in the Sky This photo taken Monday night at Brisbane shows the moon, Venus and Jupiter forming a smiley face. The website where I found it is the Astronomy Picture of the Day.
  13. Crikey...the board is slow today. For those of you who are able to get Seattle PBS, David Foster and Friends is on at 830 PST. I saw some of the show the first time around; enough to see Josh Groban singing Bridge Over Troubled Waters. I just could not watch the whole performance of that song because it is so associated with Clay for me that I have difficulty seeing any one else singing it. Also, I want Clay to be up on that stage singing. Do any of you have similar reactions to people other than Clay who are singing songs that he has sung and you have come to love? Or am I just weird? Carolina Thanks for the link to your blog and that video.
  14. OT, but if you all need a laugh, check this out. The Doghouse
  15. Hee my first thought was they are getting rid of their leftover crap! And yes I entered too even though I already have a lot of it. Maybe they will have some new "stuff" for us to support Clay buy? You know I might just stay here today! Since the contest is also announced on Clay's My Space maybe they are looking for more people to become members of OFC. Makes for a pricey raffle ticket! I looked up Goodpasture's Syndrome and I'm so sorry to read that that your BIL might have it.
  16. If you have Firefox right click on the banner, then chose Properties and there under alternate text you will find the message. It's not as much fun, granted, as having it pop up as you drag your mouse across the banner.
  17. No cameras, no recorders. I hope that those fans with the remarkable, amazing, Clayfog resistant memories are there to report back to us.
  18. I hope that Clay will do photos with fans at the SD or there will be some very disappointed fans. I don't remember seeing this here before. A friend just sent me this link. The Radio Just put any song or artist in the search box and you get to hear the song. Of course, I started with OMWH then went on to Dire Straights and am now am hearing Hank Williams because he followed Elvis' Heartbreak Hotel.
  19. Fom CV This is the write up on EBay on the top hat:
  20. from CV I love seeing these numbers especially in these bad financial times. Donations to charities will be down. I think Clay should auction off the white suit he wears in his last performance of Spamalot. Imagine how much that would raise!
  21. Maybe I'm missing something, but why do you think Clay thought he'd be under lights? I'm confused. It's a parade, and I expected him to be along the parade route. Do they typically use lights in the daytime? Of course, I haven't seen the clip yet, just the screen cap. And I agree, Jaymes is Parker's mother, not Clay's keeper. I am sure he can dress himself the way he wants to (and that would include however much makeup he does or does not want to wear). Looking foward to watching the clack when I get home (and another repeat or three of the Rosie appearance as well)! Clay says that "it is not so warm today and I thought we were going to be inside so I'm freezing. I wore my nice sweater and I had to wear my jacket on top of it." And of course he can wear what ever he wants in the way of clothes and make up but, you know, sometimes some good advice might be warranted. ETA: I just indulged in some nostalgia and watched Clay sing "Silver Bells" while on the Hershey float in the 2003 parade.
  22. bolding mine Well that's it isn't it..he thought he'd be under lights..someone didn't get the message to him. And darn we didn't get to see his sweater. I find myself wishing that Jaymes would take more of a role in advising him on his clothes and hair and then remind myself that she's a mother to Parker, not Clay.
  23. Well that was disappointing. Turned out that even tho' Rosie's show was in my TV Times as being on NBC at 900pm, it wasn't. I did want to see the whole show especially after reading the responses over at CV, so that I could decide for myself what I thought of it. I watched the Clack and our Clay was on for a total of 1 minute 25 seconds!! That just was not enough after all the anticipation. Mind you yes he does look good and tall and broad of shoulder, helped by those gardbrace armour bits on his shoulders. I must be feeling a little lightheaded in that I actually searched a few sites to find the name of those shoulder armour bits! As for the mild gay joke...didn't bother me; however, I was p/o'd by the crack on DWTS. Clay only announced himself as gay 2 months ago. It is going to take a while for the jokes to stop. How long has Lance been out?
  24. (from Wikipedia) Back in the day when I used to do canning I used to make prune plum mincemeat which contained no animal products except butter in place of suet. It was very good and I've had some in which green tomatoes were used..also good. Mincemeat tarts for Christmas...mmm good!
