Thanks for all the lovely Spamemories! One of the best weeks of one of the best holidays I've ever had - going to spam twice,running around NYC,four other musicals, juniors for dessert Yum!, meeting the lovely Annabear, the subway, getting lost by myself in the big city...... Can you tell I just loved NYC!

Happy Birthday keepingfaith!! My count? two Spams! ...I know it doesn't sound much but is two times more than I ever thought. No stage door because of "Broadway Cares?"- the auction thingy. The memories still have me grinning like a chesire cat!

My DH football team yesterday won the Grand Final. Australian Rules football, that is. Oh, having read what I just typed I should make it clear that he doesn't play, he just supports this team! They haven't won the final since 1990. He is watching the replay now, still wearing the team colours. I will probably have to hide his black & white outfits (inc signed footy jumper!)when he gets in the shower!

I take it you mean the ready made frozen version? - Best invention and use of freezer ever! Just remembering the dismal failure of my pastry making (all Types) in Home Ec.- Apparently I have Hot Hands. Its a not uncommon affliction apparently...but it is my burden to bear...... :clay:

Is anyone watching "The Choir"? I believe its on BBC America. We get it here on UKTV and I am a bit addicted I know! A show about choirs....But it grabs ya.....

Hey kf thats my fave picture too. He just radiates happiness in this and I cant help smiling back. I "discovered" Clay when he was on the Martha Stewart show. I liked what I heard and thought I might look up the CD to see if it was available in Australia. One thing led to another and led me here. I have become a lot more computer literate because of Clay. His Spam run just happened to coincide with our trip to the US and I still can't get over that piece of luck. I was fortunate enough to meet a couple of the Board friends I had made and also gained the courage to post and ask questions about places to stay, things to see etc and this contact, both in person and on the board really added another layer to our trip. Because of Clay I have another interest in my life, a place to come when everything else is not so crash-hot and people will understand and sympathise or share my joy as the case may be. Because of Clay, I re-discovered my love of music. It had been years since I had bought myself a CD - too many other responsibilities and expenses vying for my time and money. Since that first copy of MOAM came in the mail I have found other artists I enjoy too. I have also attended concerts and musicals and found some me-time and sometimes made my entertainment and pleasure a priority instead of seeing to everyone else all the time. All this started with Clay.
