Hi Fca! I love hearing the re caps and the girlygiggly tone that envelopes us all when faced with these entertaining people. Especially one in particular....... I have been downloading a bit today and find that miles & oceans do not make me immune. I am sitting here, a grinning fool, wishing I could partake of the concerts and all the after and before fun. Oh well, I find I must keep repeating my house building mantra " It'll be worth it in the end" BTW what is LLVL? Have racked whats left of my brain and can't work it out. Hi FCA I am finally back in the land of the internet-connected. In the last four weeks I have sold my house, rented another one at very short notice, moved 18 yrs worth of possessions, gone through my work audit, gone for two weeks holiday (arranged well before we knew it would be so crazy) and dealt with rock bottom service of utility companies, internet service providers etc and top-notch service of estate agents & moving company. Whew! I still feel a bit unsettled and not calm but I am slowly unwinding. Each day I try to go to bed with the house looking a bit better than when I woke up and be satisfied with that. The kids still have until next Tuesday off school so I am not working and looking forward to going back through the threads and relaxing with some Clayful fun! Donna xx

I'm with you Clayzy I love having the actual CD. I am moving within the next couple weeks so I'm not sure if I should order it yet in case it comes after I move. I may just have to be all mature and stuff and wait until I am in my new temporary home.....gnashes teeth and stomps off to sulk

I am supposed to be organizing for our Garage sale tomorrow but boy am I glad I stopped by here!! I just heard UM from the new site. Confession: I do not particularly like this song, I am a bit HoHum on it, when Clay sang it before I thought "Oh quite ...nice But now...... Whoever had the idea for the "airplane note" leading into that belty high note (which IMO isClay ) is a genius and someone who getsClays' unique ability. I understand completely Lotus,just reading your post brought back many happy memories for me. All those you mentioned along with my DH & our boys discovering one of the great cities of the world. Being so thankful that we were able to gift the kids with this possibly once-in-a-lifetime experience, realising my long held dream of seeing Broadway shows, seeing Clay live (in the actual same room as me!!!). I have photos - of random crowds, busy streets, street-vendors, police cars and cheesecake. They are quick snaps and mean nothing to the friends and family I inflict them onto share them with. But I know if I mention them here that you will understand.

I am late as usual, but I came on here today to point out Alan Cummings blog. I am a fan of Mr Cumming, I don't agree with everything he says but he always has something to say! His blog is good, he tries to update it nearly every day just with what he is doing or his opinion on current events etc. I wish Clay would do something like this. Totally OT - I think my house is sold!!! Just waiting on Building & pest inspection and for the buyers finance to be approved, then settlement date is about a month from tomorrow! How am I going to pack up 18yrs worth of crap, work ,etc etc in that time? :onFire: :o

Alright, who was the one who ate all the chocolates? I love the clips of the PBS special and I heard the one clip from the OFC and loved the jazzy sound to it. I cannot wait to get this cd (well those cd's because I"ll have to have one of each version) and the dvd/dvd's and to watch the special and hear those beautiful and exciting notes that came out of that man. I guess it must have been me, since my kids gave me wii fit plus for Mothers day! Hope all the Mums had a lovely day.

Hey Kf neither of my kids walked or talked early, in fact a bit on the late side, but once they started I couldn't shut them up! Still can't. They both excel in English and the younger one is quite the public speaker. So I believe that, within certain very wide limits, it doesn't mean much. I'm with fear, take names of anyone that dares hint that Parker,or my kids, or yours, or ours, are anything but the absolute geniuses we know they are. Niiice pitchers! (did anyone else immediately think "Oh Richie Cunningham" )

Boo! - House has not sold yet so have to be cleanaholic and suffer self-induced nervous breakdown over tidiness of house every morning before I can go to work Yay! - New CD sloooowly coming Yay! - Clack is a coming for the geographically challenged! Funnily enough the stress I am having keeping my house ready for viewings is doing me good in the pounds dept - vacuuming and running around like a cleaning ninja every morning before work must be good exercise.
