ldyjocelyn
Fox News clip:Can 'American Idol' star Clay Aiken win NC House race?http://video.foxnews.../#sp=show-clipsJust watched it -- being that it's Fox News, it's not as biased as I feared. They admit he has an uphill battle, but they also think it's great that he's using his voice to get into politics, and feel that more people should be trying to do this kind of thing. merrieeee
Hello CA4NC Gold Circle Members!I have to start by thanking you for being such a supportive group for the past few months. The level of excitement and passion that you bring to the campaign is realized each and every day with your emails of encouragement and phone calls suggesting creative ways in how you want to stay involved. You truly are integral to the campaign! We’ve now reached a pivotal moment. Our opponent has made it publicly known that she intends to purchase significant TV time and begin a media campaign against Clay. She knows that we will have a hard time matching this resource since we are a campaign funded by individuals and not the deep pockets of special interest groups. The unfortunate truth is that if we can’t match her ability to purchase TV ads, we will find ourselves facing an uphill battle on Election Day.Now we need your help! We’re asking you to help us raise the necessary funds that we need to stay competitive. The CA4NC Gold Circle is made up of 240 of our most loyal supporters and we need you to work as a team and meet a fundraising goal of 100k by the end of the quarter. We're calling you the GOLD TEAM! This goal might sound like a lot, but if each person is able to raise (or donate themselves) $450, that would do it! And yes, we know you don't need an incentive to help the campaign, but it selfishly makes us feel better if we can say thank you in the following way:If the Gold Team is able to raise 100k, as a team, before the month ends, Clay and Faye will host a cookout at Faye's house in Raleigh, NC. And for those who might not be able to travel, Clay will also host a private webcast after the election and even sing few songs! There are many ways your contacts can submit donations:1. Online: www.clayaiken.com/goldteam2. Check: Made out to Clay Aiken for North Carolina and Mailed to PO Box 3809, Cary, NC 27519* Must write “GOLD TEAM” or “CA4NC GOLD TEAM” in the memo line. 3. Phone: Our office can handle donations over the phone. Just have them call: 919-297-8466 x 1001 *Cash: We cannot accept cash.Time is of the essence, with the end of the quarter only 1 week away! We need you pick up the phone and call in those personal favors and compel your contacts to provide the critical funding we need to be successful.* IMPORTANT: We would like to invite each of you to join Clay and I on a conference call TOMORROW at 2pm EST to hear a little bit more about this request. We can’t do this without you and truly hope that you will join us. If you can make it, please use the following information and make sure to MUTE YOUR PHONE once you've logged in. Dial-in Number: 712-432-1212Meeting ID: 582-561-616Thank you in advance for your help and hope to speak with you soon!Nick LeiseyFinance DirectorClay Aiken for NCPaid for by Clay Aiken for North CarolinaClay for North CarolinaPO Box 3809Cary NC 27519-3809 United StatesIf you believe you received this message in error or wish to no longer receive email from us, please unsubscribe.
