I recently celebrated my 50th Anniversary for working at the same hospital since I graduated in 1972.  My sister was there today and sent me a picture.  I did not know they even put it up.

gbmifan, I'm so impressed, such a long time in one job, but also, the job itself. My niece was in PICU for 17 days after she was born. They saved her life, and also her quality of life. 💜 

But, unless you started your career as a child, you are around the same age as I am. You go on long bike trips and do ski patrol! I pictured you as much younger then me. ARGH!

Thanks everyone for the comments.  I will continue to work till I can not tolerate 12 hour shifts anymore.  My DH says I like going to work to get away from him! I do not work full time. I have been lucky I am still able to do the time.

I just heard from merrieeee.  Her daughter just passed away after a battle with cancer.  Please keep merrieeee in your thoughts and prayers.  

Cancer sucks.

I am so, so sorry.. my heart goes out to you and your family. Having a beloved daughter myself, it is my deepest and darkest fear. I am so sad that you are going through it. Prayers and love always 🙏🏻❤️

Thank you for all the good wishes etc.   I at least know she’s not in any more pain.  To make matters worse it is the 9th anniversary of my husband's death and I have bronchitis!

Merrieeee, she was an amazing person, and led such an interesting life! I can't believe it was cut short like that; it's so unfair--for her students and friends, for you especially.

No surprise, I found Clay's responses so quick and so funny. And best part --- ♥️it was unfiltered !!🤣

Dave,Jeremy, and Clay must have really enjoyed this episode, bc it ran 95 minutes!   Really enjoyed, especially last 2/3's.

I commented to hosts that they should consider inviting Clay back sometime, he's such a natural when it comes to unscripted programs.
