HeidiHo
Damn, Melinda kicked ASS. and she seems alot more confident. Damn she should win this frickin show - her or Lakesha. Amen to Claygasm on that one.
Claygasm
I feel bad about wanting Hayley to go. There is something I like about her. That's why I say, keep 7 girls and only 5 guys. And picking the 5 guys who deserve to stay would be very hard. They are so weak!
Ansamcw
Yup I think the ones that should go are Antonella and Hayley...I'm afraid it might be gina that goes instead of Antonella. Really shocked at how good the women are...but I think they may cancel each other out.
muskifest
Yeah, this whole boy/girl crap is just that---crap. No way only two of those guys should be sent home. They're just not good. I'd keep only Chris Sligh and Blake...and that's being kind. The women are killing this year! I'm with you all about who should go---Antonella and Haley, for sure. And I really wanted to scream when Simon gave props to Antonella's 'classy' way of handling herself during all the media cruelty. huh? You mean, like how he and Randy did their 'Let's make fun of Clay' performance on television the morning after he sang? Or how nobody from AI had any kind of supportive comments to make during all the horror of last year? Or... never mind. Old news. Back to the Serenity Prayer... heh. playbiller
ok guys, leave a little information tonight, I am going to a class in organization attic to basement and won't be back until 9. I would not waste a tape on this show. Edited March 8, 2007 by playbiller
muskifest
I don't know where everybody was tonight...but. Wow. I was surprised to see who went home. weird.
KAndre
Oh, I was making sympathetic noises at my guy who was putting up my new overpriced sound system - I do computers, not home theater systems - I am very sexist (and lazy) that way...only really faintly surprised at Sabrina. The next few weeks should see the guys dropping like flies....
Ansamcw
pretty sick with the flu yesterday...so even if I was watching...I was all snug in my bed. I wasn;t surprised Sanjaya stayed but I was surprised at brandon. I thought he was the one gogin to be sacrificed. the same with Haley...ai though Antonella might make it...btu I was sure Haley was toast. I think Sabrina;s problem is that too many Divas... HeidiHo
Heeeellllooooooooo-oooo anyone here? I'm here. Sqeeeing. <g> Blake and Chris and Lakesha and Melinda can all stay - the rest can hit the road. <g> Well, there are probably a few other women that can stay. The men other than Blake and Chris must go first. <g>
Ansamcw
Here we go!!!! Diana Ross did have an impressive career....I wonder how their song choices would go.
HeidiHo
Brandon just doesn't excite me. Is he behind the music or is that just me? Oooo...he cracked. Oh, now I feel bad - forgot the words. Nice hips though.
KAndre
She looks good for her age... Brandon is not good. Man, they are letting them sing a lot more of the song.
Ansamcw
Brandon ...oh gah....totally anemic start to a very upbeat and fun song. WOW what a waste of a song...and he is so pitchy...and what a blech voice... not a good start for the evening. oh my god...this is a train wreck...first person to sing...I predict first person to go... playbiller
They are just not selling the songs. The voices are there, but not the passion, not the interest - but he has always sung this way.
Ansamcw
WOW simon was really harsh...it was right but harsh....oh gosh you were behind the band all through out and you were pitchy...so low energy...you were blech. Ouch Chris looked better with glasses....
playbiller
Beginning of the remakes, I guess. Hmm Melinda is number 2? should be interesting. Melinda Complaining about the high heels - I never understood how they could walk and dance in 5 inch heels that they are always made to wear. KAndre
Am I gonna have to turn in my black card if I admit I never liked "The Wiz" except for "Ease On Down the Road"? She is much better than Brandon. Seriously old school.
HeidiHo
I'm with Ansa on the Chris in glasses thing. Melinda - awesome. My god, she just gave me chills too.
Claygasm
Brandon - I agreed with Simon. Melinda - You get the feeling she knows what the lyrics mean. She has an amazing voice, but she also knows how to use it. She is in a different league.
Ansamcw
Oh I love Home...and perfect for Melinda...I am already getting goose bumps.... awww she was so good...I love how heartfelt she did that.... tearing up....I have loved that song since I was a little girl. HeidiHo
Chris - no doubt he has a good voice, but I'm not sure I like this arrangement. I liked it better toward the end of the song.
KAndre
Chris - he doesn't relate to this song at all. Miss Ross knew that. I don't like it. He's not a bad singer - but this is dull.
Claygasm
Chris S. - I know looks don't matter (or shouldn't), but he is one odd looking dude! But some may love him for that alone. To borrow an infamous Simon phrase, I prefer him with my eyes closed! Not sure what this reminds me of, but I am finding it rather bland. To me, he is not feeling the song. He seems to almost be going through the motions. Not impressed. Edited March 13, 2007 by Claygasm
