Happy Thanksgiving all! I am thankful for you, my Clay friends!

Turkey is roasting at the moment!  Just DH and I, but we love leftovers, so it’s cool!  Also watching the MST3K marathon on YouTube, and tonight is part one of the Beatles “Get Back.”

The Drowsy Chaperone is ON at Pittsburgh next year!  The dates are June 21-26, and his costar is Paige Davis (who I used to love on the TV show "Trading Spaces").

Yes podcast!  Clay  has redeemed himself in my eyes 👋

i knew he would have his bestie on there sooner or later. Wish I knew where to find out the guest ahead of time.. really wanted to send a question. And while on the subject, Kelly C better have her old buddies Clay and Ruben on her show to sing some Christmas 🥴

For now I’m thankful we got a poddy- can’t wait to find time to listen!

I loved this podcast. 

Anyone  who can make Clay giddy can talk to him all day long AFAiC

Yeah so I agree with practically nothing she says.. but she loves him, and let’s face it Clay loves to argue and debate his point.  They can do this and still be friends, that’s priceless. Lots more Cliggles for us?! Win win I say 😝

Well I have to brag on my daughter a little.  She encouraged her kids to take part in a scholarship program called Quest.  It’s very rigorous and hard to win.  1700 kids entered throughout the whole country.  One of her students entered and my daughter helped her with essays etc.  Well yesterday she learned her student was a finalist and has won a full four year ride to Yale!  Her student was crying in class. She comes from a low income immigrant family and her dad is incarcerated!  My daughter did research and found a club at Yale that deals with criminal injustice cases and suggested it to her pupil.
My daughter says after the last year this was such a boost.  She at one point considered quitting teaching but something like this shows she makes a difference. She doesn’t ever take credit for how she helps her kids but last night even she said she felt she had helped change a child’s life!

That is such a wonderful story.  Teachers do so much for their students and mostly goes unappreciated. I love that this girl is going to get somewhere in life now because of that special person who is your daughter.. congrats to all!! ❤️

Oh my gosh merrieee, I LOVE that story.  Your daughter is so special -- teachers can make such a difference in student's lives, and this is a fantastic example.  Congratulations to her student for her hard work, and congratulations to your daughter!
