Well, I've enjoyed wasting spending the last mumblemumble minutes here at my desk catching up on the last pages at FCA.

YSRN, you've said a mouthful re: church thang...and I'll have some a dat. :F_05BL17blowkiss:

KarenEh?...once again, you've reminded me that I can't let my guard down around you when it comes (heh) to Clay.

As for the poochy tummy, I will always maintain my position.....and if Clay maintains his on his back, there will still be a nice hollow there from which to sip champagne.
I pictured this positioning as I read and wonder....might not a certain swell interfere with access to the hollow?

Then, of course, I immediately laughed at my silliness. It would be no hardship whatsoever to climb any length or breadth of swell he might present in order to sip.

Nope...not hard at all... :hubbahubba:

Oh! that just slipped out. :whistling-1:

I would see him in Hell,

I would go there with bells.

I would see him in a casino,

I would even imbibe the vino

In vino veritas

In Hell there would be heatus

But I'd go

Cause I'm a concert ho.

Jazzgirl... GREAT!!! BWAH!!!

Karen Eh... (I think, that'll teach me to copy instead of quote! )

I would see him in the shower

In a lovely Ivory Tower

I would see him, raise him ten

Oh, sweet Clay remember when...

Well, with any luck, I will have a kitchen by then. So that will mean I only need new rugs and some paint and I will have an acceptable house. I know one person who will be coming up here. I wonder how many times I can afford to see this play?

The ticket prices pretty much show why broadway can't sell tickets?

Since this is only available to the members, doesn'that mean a l;ot of people are breaking the TSU to post about it on boards?

Congratulations on the Rockies win. They are awesome.

I'd go see Clay if he were giving a concert in hell.

I have no standards.

I don't have many myself but those megaevangalisthatepreachingchurches squee me out.

Clay singing, Sasha skating.....doesn't get much better than that.

Do we know how long he will be appearing in Spamalot? I'm sure the attendance will surge.

Karen Eh, thank you for the pictures and welcome back for a while. The contracts between old and new and interesting. Hope you get the house you want, it should house the whole Houston posse if you can get them Baku ready. Well, maybe not.

Being a pissant now - I don't think that the blog or membership information should be posted on boards before it is available to the public, I have already seen people who are "too good" for the fan club demanding and getting details. Sorry, I am bitchy like that - I remember very well what someone had said about not joining and it was not a money issue, it was a who needs Clay type of remark, she had other idols now.

On a positive side - I need to get a poster from the skating show , it is just perfect!!!

Clay stated that the press release was hitting the wires 30 minutes after the posting of the news on the OFC. So, I didn't find any harm in posting a one sentence statement that confirms his appearance. I did not post the entire announcement nor the blog. If there is a problem, I apologize. Couchie, please delete my post if you find it necessary. I meant no harm.

To be annoying, you did have to sign in to see it, being signed in most the time, it is hard to notice that it is different. But sincethe ticket site kept crashing my browser I had to switch to another and was not signed in there, took me a while to figure out why I couldn't see it there - duh

I wasn't specifically commenting on you, here, but on other sites, (took a quick survey, since I was on lunch break - soon to be raking again, the price you pay for 500 year old oaks) but noticed a lot of the details of the blog posted by several people each sort of one upping the next on major boards.

I told you I was being a piss ant. I am basically a rule follower to the detail.

It has since been announced on WRAL. Now the details can come out. As I said, one person jponesing for details specifically annoyed me, I read the boards too much. must get back to real work.

Play, It's on the front page for all to see.

Wow, more Tyra time, more Dianne time, more exposure to different types of fans. Sounds like a good thing for Clay!

Play... actually it was on the public side of the OFC. I double checked by logging out before I posted it on my own board. Cuz I'm a "rule follower" too.

Oh yeah, Bottle... get to that Blog. Clay's waiting in tights! Hee.

EEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mike Nichols said this about Clay:

Director Mike Nichols said: "Clay Aiken is amazing beyond that glorious voice. Turns out he is an excellent comic actor and a master of character. People will be surprised by his wide ranging talent, since the first impression is of great country charm and a singer to remember. This guy is not only a star, he is a lot more. We are lucky to get him for SPAMALOT."

Isn't Mike Nichols Diane Sawyer's husband?

Yep, the press release thingy was on the public part of the OFC...the blog was not. But some people are basically posting the blog's information---in detail---so...yeah...I know people who are NOT OFC members for whatever reasons, but who are among the first to ask someone who IS to spill everything from the blog...I just don't get it. If you're interested, join the freakin' OFC...it's not like it'll break your bank

like multiples of seeing Spamalot on Broadway might...:cryingwlaughter: Ok...just sent a copy of the press release to Mr. Muski, with the preface..."Looks as though a trip (or two) to New York is in my (our) future for 2088"

heh. :whistling-1:

Oooh! Look at what Mr. Muski emailed back to me:

Wow. very cool. It would be nice if all of us could go. Nice comments from the director and Eric Idle

Okay, so when is FCA got to meet up in NYC and do Sir Robin?

And playbiller, I think I see what you meant about the specific contents of the blog being spilled elsewhere... That was a bit too much detail to my mind for something that is supposed to be premium content.

I went home quickly for lunch and thank God I did. goldarngirl PM'ed me and asked when we were taking a trip to NYC? I was confused, said only if Clay's in Spamalot. She said he is!!!! I let out a scream that would have woken the dead. If I'd been at work I might have got myself fired.

I just read the blog. Hee! What a goofball he is! I love him! I want to go to NYC once a month (at least) for 5 months next spring. That is not extreme is it? OMG the more I think about it the more I realize this could be even more draining on the Visa than a concert tour.

This is the most amazing news EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
