hmmm one shirt from clay yet 4 items from JPL... that should bring in a lot of money. I may be ablet o get a leg in Paula Abdul's extra small skirt. Skimpy auction. I wish she had gotten more season 2 stuff. But good luck to the cause.

A little fun promotion for Clay as heard by DJS

one of the radio stations is doing a week-long giveaway of tickets for the tampa show - 10th caller gets 5th row seats and meet'n'greet, has to name 5 things about a subject in 10 seconds - sort of like family feud. Tomorrow it will be 4th row seats, and so on - girl that won today, Valerie, said she was so excited her heart was beating too fast. irt was nice to hear the promotion!

Holy crap...Clay's shirt is at $600 and there are 25 days left?~?~?~?~?~? I love that shirt, by the way...

Well, I'm back in the office and won't be traveling again until I board the plane on my birthday to fry with Clay in Frisco! WOO! :Tour3: :TourExcite: I'm swamped with work with the two biggest meetings coming up in the next six months AND trying to get reorganized after all this recent travel...with the kids' and mom's needs, life is busy, y'all! :blink:

But the weather here is gorgeous and when all's said and done,

A little heads up...I have heard that Clay will be appearing Tuesday night on DWTS..no not singing...with Kimmel in the skit.

As with life there are no guarantees, but it is a go as of right now.

It should be posted at the OFC soon.

Very interesting..always happy to see Clay doing something interesting...hee so Clay will be appearing in a finale...just not AI..BWAH!!!

Claygasm...Jimmy has a regular feature on the results show. its dancing with Jimmy. The few episodes I saw were pretty funny with guillermo in a dress demonstrating some intricate step.

I just answered this to someone else via email. The "competition" portion of the show is tonight, and then tomorrow night is the results show. Just as AI has to pad their results show to fill an hour, so does DWTS. This year, they started with something called "Dancing with Jimmy," usually Kimmel and his pal Guillermo (G frequently dressed in a ball gown) demonstrating a dance, although in later episodes that hasn't always been the case. So yes, they do skits on DWTS.

Actually, I can see this happening, if it is true. Clay will, IMO, once again show that he has a sense of humor. And on a show that gets pretty darn good ratings (even if it is up against AI tomorrow evening). This season has been one of the highest rated ever, I believe.

And does this mean we will have to read more people bitching about Clay making non-singing appearances which is a clear signal he doesn't take his music seriously?

My guess would be "yes." But I don't care, because if it is true, it will be Clay on my TEEVEE!!!!!!!

Thanks for the explanations. Clay and Jimmy have not let me down yet. Clay's ability to NOT take himself seriously is one of the things I love about him. I hope it is true and I hope he has fun.

ETA: Claygasm, Clay is smart and knows what he feels comfortable doing. If he puts on a ball gown after knowing all the crap he has had to deal with and will have to deal with I'll salute his titanium ones and laugh my fool head off. But I think they'll do something different. It should prove interesting.

Frankly, I trust Jimmy and think he's treated Clay pretty well. I'm more worried that a skit would be less than hysterical (the quality of the ones I've seen have been pretty uneven), than I am about Jimmy making Clay look bad in some way.

And I like the little "F.U. AI" symbolism, too.

So, how soon until we get to start griping about Clay not being asked to perform on "So You Think You Can Dance"? :whistling-1:

Claygasm...I don;t think that will happen but if it does I say that will be the best FU from Clay. It shows he does not care about all the talk about his sexuality.Also shows that he does have titanium balls. I hate to anticipate what it will be cos I think Jimmy and Clay will come up with something better than what I could think of...This is exciting!!!

yay for living on the west coast..I'll know exactly what time to tune in, or better yet - I should have the clack before it airs. heeeee. I won't tell my mother. I know her reaction already. She'll be running to come get me cuz she thinks she has a scoop.

I double-checked the listings, and you're right. DWTS' performance show is tonight from 8 -9PM EDT. Tomorrow, AI's performance show is from 8 - 9PM EDT, and the DWTS results show is from 9 - 11PM EDT.

Wow, two hours - that's a lot of filler to sit through to see probably 30 seconds of Clay... But I'll be there!

crap! I was really hoping Clay's appearance was up against the AI finale! Hee...I'm bitchy that way. And it would just be another FU from him to them and display of that titanium pair he possesses and shows off so often and well.... :whistling-1:

I know, I know...even if the two shows WERE actually competing in time slots, his being on there wouldn't necessarily mean he would be flashing the metal balls or exercising his middle finger...

but it's hot to assume so.... :hubbahubba:

On the one hand (that being the one that's always slapping me upside the head), the concept of a ball gown having any part in this skit makes me want to run for the spiked punch bowl. The other hand recognizes the delightful possibilities of bare skinned.....um...clack. The 'slap upside the head' hand is ready if there is a white tee shirt involved with said ball gown.

Could it be one of those Latin outfits? **rifles through closet in serach of pink Our Lady of Guadalupe candle**

Ah but let's hope for something else. I'll sacrifice that fantasy for now to save all the yakking on Wednesday. **sniff** I know he'll make me laugh, he usually does. Being rhetorical and all, but how cool is it that he's on another season finale. He has a hell of a watercooler moment to top from last year but I think they'll try.

Talking of our BF, this is something he most certainly never has to resort to!! :

The boss of a Madison Avenue advertising agency called a spontaneous staff meeting in the middle of a particularly stressful week. (This is one pretty sharp boss!) When everyone gathered, the boss, who understood the benefits of having fun, told the burnt out staff the purpose of the meeting was to have a "quick contest".

The theme: Viagra Advertising Slogans.

The only rule was; they had to use past ad slogans, originally written for other products, that captured the essence of Viagra. Slight variations were acceptable.

About 7 minutes later, they turned in their suggestions and created a Top 10 List. With all the laughter and camaraderie, the rest of the week went very well for everyone!

The top 10 were:

10. Viagra, Whaazzzz up!

9. Viagra, The quicker pecker picker upper.

8. Viagra, like a rock!

7. Viagra, When it absolutely, positively has to be there overnight.

6. Viagra, Be all that you can be.

5. Viagra, Reach out and touch someone.

4. Viagra, Strong enough for a man, but made for a woman.

3. Viagra, Home of the whopper!

Crazy bidding for Clay's shirt, and practically nothing else for the rest of them. I looked at KLo's stuff too, it would be cool to have something of hers, IMO.

I'm so looking forward to this as well. I'm not expecting a ball gown (but if he did do that, I'd be on the floor LOL). My idea: I think he'll portray all three DWTS judges, judging Jimmy and Guelliermo. Maybe even throw in a fourth judge, and he could do his Simon impersonation, and then they could say, "wrong show!"

Any other ideas?
