Doesn't matter to me what Clay sings, as long as he sings something and doesn't just hum or whistle.

Cary and the Lawn - I sat in the lawn 2 years ago and it was hot - but we had a great time - we got there about noon, and paid for special parking that allowed our car to be about 20 feet away from the line - we had a cooler, lawn chars, umbrellas for shade and people kept passing out free fans. So we napped, we talked to interesting people, traded pins and basically partied until it was time to put everything away and line up to run to the front. Now, I have knee problems, so we did not get to run fast - I am sure my sister can out run me now, but we ended up on the right side (the good side) of the mixer box and with just one row of people before us - right in front of us were jumbotrons! - It was hot, but we still had plenty of water - once we got there, we took turns and went to the rest room immediately! They were still pristine clean and we drank plenty of water all day.

Then we settled in to keep a couple of people from trying to jump in front of us (oh, there is noooooo roooom at the back, so they told us to come and sit in front of you. Well, I did not care, I would have moved forward if they let us and made room in the back for these people! I think they thought we were idiots - can you believe someone called me rude after they tried to sit in front of me? WHat planet are people from - are people in the south really that polite (i.e. stupid)? I doubt it.

The lawn is actually raised, so you can see over the heads of the seated audience, if you wanted to watch the stage (binoculars helped here, but were not really neccessary), and the jumbotron was really the only way to watch when Clay walked into the audience.

I was going to go even if we only got lawn tickets, but we didn't, so we don't have to get there quite so early.

I recommend people attend even with lawn tickets, just dedicate your day to it. There are news interviews to do, should you want, an lots of people waiting with you.

Did I miss some discussion somewhere about what Clay will be singing on tour? Or did I just blank out again? *Sigh* I think he will sing songs on his tour.....a nice touch would be the phone books local to the area of each concert but then we'd just polarize over the yellow pages verses the white. And those Southern Californians would get the longest concerts! Yikes! NO FAIR!

Teefies? From Fountaindawg's photoshopping efforts:

teethcomparison.jpg

Looks to me that maybe the first HUMONGOUS teeth were temps? Or something...'coss this latest iteration of his sexy mouth show rows of enamel that look more like the originals except for their still BLINDINGLY WHITEness. :allgood: whatever...I'd still do him.

The teefies all look the same to me. The third picture is smaller overall, and the resolution isn't particularly good in any of them. I like the hair in the first one best.

I love Clay's teeth. I love that he is going to be on Kimmel and I have known for some time what he will be singing at concert. *whistle* :believeitornot::tongue57:

BWAH BWAH BWAH. You are a cunning linguist , my friend!

Claygasm, how will I find you and hug you in Philly? We need to develop a FCA "high" sign or handshake or something. Or a pin? Everyone else has got one! How about a pin that says "FCA-It's All Good!"

And now some serious, thought provoking verse:

Teefy, toofy

Smiley, goofy

Winky, "wonky"

My favorite "honky"!!

Yep, that's Clay.

I don't know. We'll have to arrange something! I MUST meet you! We'll work something out for sure! (I kind of like the FCA pin idea....) :F_05BL17blowkiss:

{{Clayzor}} I've been thinking of you lots! I'm so glad to hear things are looking up! :F_05BL17blowkiss:

And I'm always ready to give my darling diva a budhug.gif.

I can totally tell the difference with Clay's final teeth product changeamabob. They look like they fit in his mouth better now. Or he's gotten used to them. Or I have. Heh. I just don't get how one person can look so freakin' different all.the.time. I take the same shitty picture no matter what my hair looks like.

Barbecue is a noun alright. It's that big ol' metal thing on my back porch. If I were to tell someone I was having BBQ, they'd ask, "BBQ what?".

Anywho... hi. icecubesmiley.gif

I CANNOT believe I am doing this. But I am posting my first? post on main with a lesson on nouns vs. verbs. :)

Barbeque is a thing one eats, therefore and ergo, a noun. The act of cooking the thing one eats? That is called grilling, a verb. The object upon which one cooks? Okay, there is latitude on that one. Could be a smoker, could be a grill, could be an old oil barrel split in half. But dang if you can't grill up all kinds of marvy barbeque on any of those objects. :)

Hi, y'all!

I can't wait to see Clay again. It's been way too long.

As a former high school English teacher and even formerer English major in undergraduate school, I hereby give you all my permission to use the word 'barbecue' or 'barbeque' any damned way you want to.

And as a frustrated Clay Concert Ticket Buyer who is still waiting for ONE SINGLE ticket sales process for ONE STINKING venue to run smoothly and with fewer than three or more conflicting dates, procedures, superseekrit passwords and generic ones that don't work or that aren't correct, I bid you all good night and happy Indio ticket buying in the morning...

If indeed it is in the stars that Indio tickets be procured tomorrow, that is. :fca:

North Carolina Gives Back to American Idol

This is hysterical! The details in this piece make it totally worthwhile.

Barbeque: as a Food Network junky (and as someone from nowhere NEAR the south, thus having no claim whatsoever to this type of food), it really, really, really depends on where you're from. Everyone does it different, and calls it different. The only thing I can say is that grilling and barbequing are really two different things -- grilling is FAST, barbeque cooks SLOW.

Welcome alliesmom!!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! :F_05BL17blowkiss:

Diva, that was certainly BWAH-worthy, although I prefer "pasty white boy" to "honky." Would have been hard to make that rhyme, though, eh?

I just don't get how one person can look so freakin' different all.the.time.

I wish I knew, I wish I knew -- but isn't that part of what makes him so infinitely fascinating? It's so much fun for me to just watch the different transformations.

Woohoo for couchie's Warriors! *um, basketball, right? What city?*

While we usually "cook fajitas on the grill", or "smoke a brisket" at my house, I do know that for many the word "Barbeque" is just another "F" word - some people use it as any part of speech necessary. I know people who in the course of having a barbeque will barbeque their barbeque on the barbeque. Can't get enough of that effin' barbeque!!!

Hee, exactly! That thing on my back porch that I rarely use until the weather gets up into the 80s. Used to cook hamburgers and hotdogs so I don't dirty a pot or pan in the kitchen. ;)

We're back to discussing the teeth again?????? I still don't see a difference. Can't get past the rest of the face, I guess. :P

Well, I managed to pull 5 singles yesterday, in the bloodbath known as the Cary presale. I count myself among the lucky! And that should be it for my dealings with Ticketmonster this time around. Now I just have figure out who is sitting where, and who owes who for all these seats! Time for another spreadsheet.....is it July yet? :Tour3: :Tour4: :Tour3:

So, if I don't see y'all in Houston, I'll see y'all in Tulsa (or LA...or Philly...or something in NC...or Florida) Kewl!

No beard! Long romance cover hair!

Hugs to Diva and all who need them!

alliesmom! Hey! Another person to admire my complete lack of writing-in-a-correct-manner skills! But if you are managing to grill something in a smoker, we need to put you in a Throwdown with Bobby Flay! And take bets. Then we could have even more money to spend on tour tickets!

looks at muski (former English teacher my butt (HA HA!) - you know it's like the Mafia -you never get out!) and spells out...

Bar-B-Q! Heh!

psst...lydjocelyn...look at the name...they've got to be jousters or something!

No hitting, Couchie! No admin abuse! I think it's in the FAQs!

That cartoon was freakin' HILARIOUS! I love bossy Clay!

According to a poster at the OFC:

As stated, the tickets for Clay's concert at the Fantasy Springs Casino go on sale on Friday, May 4, 2007 in person at the box office or by phone charged to a credit card. The online ticket sales starts on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. This can be done through the Fan Club site link or directly to tickets.com. I called today too. The first 7 rows in the center front section are reserved for the tribe members.

Yes, 10:00 Pacific Standard Time. Phone Number is 800-827-2946 and press the option for the box office.

Isn't that........like........NOW?
