  1. 1. What should be the next thread title at FCA?

    • Seven or eight years, phsssh, just a tiny period of time in the galaxy that is Clay.

No rain here on the south side of Chicago but plenty of wind; did not sleep well last night...oops just looked out the window..it is raining but lightly. Okay, I need to brag on myself...got an A on my mid-term test in the class I am taking (work-related).

35 Days until Clay's Birthday!:yahoo:

Happy Birthday to all celebrating!

Hugs and prayers to all in need.

Everyone have a great day!

YAY aikim on the A! I knew you'd do well in the class!

Did the storms hit you? We had several go through overnight last night, and today, it's, as Winnie-the-Pooh would say, a very blustery day. The temperature is dropping fast too. Finally, in my opinion -- in my mind it shouldn't be almost 80 degrees at the end of October. (Sorry KAndre....) Anyway, yes bc, you'll be getting stuff later today as well!

Topic: Clay once played weatherman. I still love that clip. I think I may have to go watch that again.

Puh-leeze, it's going to hit 90 here today -- and it's blustery, too!

Way to go aikim :dancetom:

I guess I'll be happy here, sunny, 73 degrees and slight wind.

Finally finished my third quarter report. I'm afraid to look at my emails. One partner gets a big bonus and the others none. Not gonna be pretty when I come in Wednesday. :dead-1:

On topic. I hope Clay makes a lot of money this quarter.

aikim... CONGRATS!!! on your A. Now to remember all of it until the final... that was always my problem. LOL

I was talking on the phone with a person from Ohio and he said there had been a lot of tornadoes in Illinois last night. I vividly remember having a tornado whirl through our town when I was in high school. It blew in the windows in my classroom and I got some glass cuts on my face. We were then all herded down to the basement. I was scared of high winds for YEARS afterward.

Out here in sunny Southern California, we have high winds called Santa Anas. They can get up to 60-70 mph in our area and I get real nervous still. Earthquakes happen quickly and get your adrenalin going until they are over, but high winds go for hours and are actually more nerve wracking. IMO

I watched the Dutch auction from the Gala last night. That was fun and it worked real good. I'll bet that happens every year now. If they had set it up so that the online fandom could have joined, it probably would have been even more.

Fear... I would work from home on Monday... lol Good luck dodging!

cindi... thanks for the BSN montage. Fantastic work, woman! I can't play .avi on my computer so I did not download, but will watch on YouTube muchly!

I LOVED the BMUB from the Gala. Best I have ever heard him sing it and I do love that song!

We didn't get much rain..one storm blew through this morning..there was a tornado sited in Peotone which is south of us; but I don't think it touched down. Very windy right now and more wind expected tomorrow but temps in the 60's..on the bright side at least it isn't snow!

About the test...the teacher mentioned that some students lost points because some of the questions were two part questions and they missed the second part...I had a big old grin on my face because I knew I hadn't missed those! :twinklewhore:
