We got 70 - 80 cm of snow yesterday and by the end of today they are saying 30 cm more. That's about 3 1/2 feet of snow! It's insane. My son managed to shovel us out to the road but in the process, broke the shovel. I managed to get the car out of the driveway and get to the store to buy another one. Whoop whoop! That's the first time I've been out of the house since Sunday (other than to walk the dogs down the middle of the road). You gotta love the 'work from home' option.

I've always loved these three pictures from this series! The top one was the shirt sold that year for the tour. I still wear that, and still get compliments on it. The second one? KILLER smile. And the last one...KILLER...feet. *g*

We have dug ourselves out and are back to work today. Yesterday, even though the roads were fairly clear and it had stopped snowing, they still kept all schools closed and cancelled the city bus service. They wanted a day to get the side streets cleared, etc. They say we got more snow in the last 3 days than we had all last winter. Insanity!

Snow has stopped; supposed to be sunny today and in the 30's...woohoo! Heat wave!

In-Service and Holiday Party at the Library...actually supposed to be a "work day" to clean up the library, but I have a feeling it is going to be more "partyng" than "work"!

My Waukegan ticket is here...almost...my dear friend Iseeme purchased it for me as I could not be on the OFC the day of the sale and will be mailing it out to me...Clay fans are the best! Can't wait to have it in my hands!
