COUCHIE!!!!!!! Hee.

Hey gang! Totally enjoying Disney World, but I'm also totally worn out, after only two days. Yesterday was the Magic Kingdom, and we spent the ENTIRE day there. Today was EPCOT, but we're planning to visit there again later in the vacation, so we didn't push ourselves as much today. Everything we've done has been incredibly fun, and we look forward to continuing this vacation as long as we possibly can.

Not much to remind me of Clay this trip so far, except that Eric Idle was in two of the attractions at EPCOT today.

Thank you annabear for texting me last night about the blog. I think I knew about it before couchie did! LOL! His blog cracked me up, and I hope he gets some good ideas from "us."

I think it's time to pour myself into bed at this point! See ya'll later, and merrieeee and crew -- have fun tonight!

Eeeeeeee! What a fun show we had tonight! I haven't seen the full cast in a while so it was like a great new show had just opened.

What about a recorded voice message to answer your phone when you are not able to take a call? "This is Clay Aiken. Unfortunately, Scarlett is unable to take your call right now, but leave a message and she will call you back as soon as she's finished listening to my CD"...
Hi claytonic! These are available on AT&T FOR $1.99. They don't have "Scarlett" in there but they sound great!

Audience is reactive but not totally Clay-centric -- good applause for everyone

He poked "Not Dead Fred" with the triangle striker-thing

One of the Camelot girls jumped on him and got a piggy-back ride

Which one of the eHP is going to fess up to having snuck back stage and secretly taken the place of one of the regular Camelot girls?

Awww - sounds like the eHP had a great time last night! I'm so happy for all of you!

ldyj - I love Disneyworld too, especially Epcot. I'd say have a great time, but you're already doing that. :)

I'm off later this morning to pick up Claymatron at the train station and then we're off to lunch with a group of Southern Ontario fans. Usually these lunches are close to 40 people, but this one is around 20, so it'll be easier to catch up with everyone. I'll miss you London ladies though!

Claymatron and I will check in later tonight - can't miss any of the "fun" the eHP gets up to in NY.... ;)

I'm with dancermom (*waves*). It was a fun, fun show! Many of the shows I attended last spring were special to me as "family outings" with the fandom. Last night, it was like wandering in to a great new show on Broadway. It was more complete, more cohesive and more about the show than about having a reunion with friends in the audience. I love how this cast works together! BTW, complete signed posters and playbills are available at $40 for a poster and $20 for a playbill -- anyone want one? Thankful4Clay I have your October playbill here with me all packaged up, just need to actually mail it.

The only teeny disappointment last night was being puzzled at not having anything else to pay for after the show. The King spoke about Broadway Cares and told about how during the auction back in September someone had bid $10,000 for a backstage tour with Clay -- the most expensive item in that entire fundraiser. But then... he simply ended by inviting everyone to sing along to Bright Side of Life, nothing else. I guess they haven't figured out what to do yet.

Looking forward to a fun day today -- the rest of the eHP will be at the matinee while I'll be picking apples from the orchards of New Jersey with play and then tonight I'll have a great seat for the evening show.

I am sure it's of paramount importance that the voting is done with the highest level of honesty and integrity, so I must point out that one of the title thread suggestions has two entries, as evidenced above.. I am sure it was deliberate which is why I am pointing it out. I mean, it is so rare that the title thread that I choose "wins" the vote that I just KNEW there was something untoward happening. I am shocked that it is this blatant!!!! .

Ok now I am awake!

Last night it seemed to me that Clay has improved so much. I thought he was good before but now he just appears to be a seasoned Broadway professional. Everything is just so smooth and the little changes make it seem like a new production.

I thought I'd die when the girl rode piggy back! (as for which one snuck backstage...we'll never tell) He didn't sing the Amen so I will just have to go back again! He also didn't do the Iff..iff..iff...um line which I missed.

I love the new king! He comes across, to me, as British comedian and he seems to fit the part better. I like the other one but he always seemed to be playing the role to me. This one is the king!

Not too many fans but those who weren't really seemed to enjoy the show. The guy next to me got busted for taking a pic during intermission and they tried to escort him out until he proved that the picture didn't come out.

The eHP is crazy as usual and having a blast! We have rearranged the rooms to our liking, plugged in our 5 laptops and are stocked up with the essentials of life but alas no Cheezy poofs!

ETA: Actually, I didn't really miss it, I do recall that I DID see you informing Couchie but it didn't register properly....

Stage Door: Is Clay not doing the SD much now? I still try to check on YouTube to see what he looks like "today" but the last one seems to be on Nov 1st.

The last week or two he's had people there (Ruben, Frenchie, DF, Kelly C, etc) and/or been under the weather. Now that BC/EFA is under way I imagine there won't be any stage door until that's over.

The story last night was that he will not be doing SD because of the BC/EFA fundraiser and there were no barricades that I could see. Also last night he had the winner of the BC auction backstage.
