# 62: I live in Clay World. And I'm not moving!

All of the interviews from yesterday and appearances are in the vault at CV..I would think they would be up at Clack Unlimited by now.

Clay did an interview with Larry Flick today that has also been vaulted.

I updated the tweets thread and the news thread. The Rolling Stone review is great, just for this paragraph:

O'Day, having thrown many a party during her sorority days, is project manager for the women. Clay Aiken steps up for the men. Aiken, however, in a moment of concern that O'Day is at an advantage for this task, delivers easily the season's best line to date. "Aubrey popped right out of her mama's chach and started grabbing onto the stripper pole," the crooner says of O'Day's party-girl reputation. There's not much context to Aiken's statement, but it's brilliant nonetheless, if only for his incorporation of the word "chach."

I'm watching the Bravo "Watch What Happens Live!" thing at the moment, and it is RACY! I've also heard that they serve cocktails on this show, and it looks as if Clay may be doing a little drinking here. (I think it looks like he has some wine, but it could also be a cola...) This is gonna be interesting. Up next: Clay plays "plead the fifth." Questions asked. Will he answer, or plead the fifth?

First question: Marry, screw or kill -- Randy, Simon and Ryan. He said he would kill Simon, screw Randy, and marry Ryan.

Second question: who of current pop singers wouldn't make it past the first rounds of AI? He had to think, but finally said Rhianna had some pitch problems.

Final question: plastic surgery? Talked about his TMJ surgery and then "having the fat sucked out of his chin."

As long as I live may I never have to watch that Bravo show again. I'm just not into pop culture or whatever that meaningless pap is called.

Now Showbiz Tonite is another classic interview that I will download and save to watch over and over. I am a big fan of political, smart and wisely-opinionated Clay. :cocktail:

The Bravo show was interesting; probably not one I would watch again. I think Clay did great and he looked fabulous and I think Jenna was smitten..did you notice how many times she grabbed his hand? Okay, 'fess up..how many of you were trying to pinch Clay's ass during a Meet and Greet? Oh and I have to make a correction..it was screw Ryan and marry Randy.

1 Days until Clay is on Big Music Buzz on VH1!

:yahoo:

Happy Birthday to all celebrating!

Everyone have a great day!

I watched the news and taped the Bravo show (I probably could have done that in reverse now that I think about it). Wouldn't you know though that my mom slept through that entire half hour segment for news and the minute it's over when I want to watch Clay, she wakes up? Needless to say I only made it through the first part of the show and cut it off during the commercials cause that is NOT something I want to be watching with my mother in the same room..... it's the reason why I don't listen to my favorite morning radio show without headphones!!! The Bravo show and that radio show seemed to have the same topics. LOL I can listen to it on my own but not with Mom around... talk about uncomfortable. So, anyway, I have to watch it today sometime. I'm totally in the dark about some the stuff that's being brought up from it....

How cute is he in that #15 pic!!!

I LOVE this show! I know I am in the minority (shocker*g*)

But this was such a treat for me to watch him and Jenna together. She actually had more class than many I've seen on here before. And this comment tharilled me: When asked what porn name she would give Clay he began to get worried and laughed but she said he was "very sexy in person. I didn't expect that"!

Of course he is. :hubbahubba:

What a clackapalooza! Wow. Lots of great interviews, and I loved the Watch What Happens Live thing -- not exactly my taste in shows, per se, but it's so much fun to watch Clay loosen up. And the Showbiz Tonight interview is great because it shows once again how smart the man is. Clay Aiken = Smart Man = Sexy Man.

And then, I've been OD'ing on "Steadfast" today. Picked up a copy at WalMart this morning, and I've been in my car enough today that I played through the album once, and then have been repeating BBML over and over again. Sigh.

Got to listen to some interviews this evening, just a couple of quick ones, but enjoyed hearing his laugh again. Since I started working again, I haven't had time to turn around twice, never mind keep up with the forums. Watched Celebrity Apprentice mostly fast-forward, just to see the guy's portion of things. Did I mention I got a job? I didn't? I'm working again, y'all! Thanks to my lovely friend merrieeee, who recommended me and who suggested I apply with a staffing service, I have been offered a 90 day "try out" with a really great company. ONLY downside is the commute (well, that, and it's not OFFICIAL until I'm actually hired for real), but hey, I have applied for jobs all the way downtown before, so I was mentally prepared to go the distance. But yeah, after MONTHS and MONTHS of searching fruitlessly and applying for all kinds of work and getting nowhere, one recommendation from my buddy got me in the door and on my way! I don't know how to say "thanks" enough!

Anyway, so, that's a bit of good news. Still nothing near out of the financial and emotional black hole, but at least I am now holding a flashlight. It has been surprisingly painless to reenter the workforce. Feels natural to be doing this work, probably from the many experiences I had while volunteering at merrieeee's workplace...it prepared me to do all kinds of secretarial tasks...so again, I could NOT have done this without my friend making a way for me to learn on the job to GET a job.

Topic? Um. Clay Aiken is working, too, y'all! LOL

It has been interesting watching him on tv. Had "Under the Boardwalk" in my head for two days after hearing Clay sing it. :)

Y'all hang in there. ((((HUGS)))) to those who need them. Need to go to bed earlier than I've been doing. Playing 'catch up' in the evenings is still very new.

Hey 00lsee. Congrats on the job. It's crazy out there!

For the past three weeks it was so SLOW and I was leaving every day at 5. And I never leave at 5. But damn, since Monday I have been swimming upstream. I think I am busier than I have ever been in my 3 years there. And what's so funny is that I was highly skeptical that Denmark wants us to send our quotes to Malaysia to be entered. I'm like why, so they can fire us for not having enough to do. But it a godsend this week. Might be the weekend before I can stop and breathe and watch some clack.

I'm still reading over at TWoP and I was about to get suspended for my nth time. Geeze, the way these folks analyze "claymates" makes me want to kick some ass. But the moderator put a stop to it thank goodness. It's just ridiculous. How on earth, 7 years later, can you still be a hater, not just of Clay but his fans. What is more ridiculous? And who needs a life? It certainly isn't me.

Have a good rest of the week!

Not worried about the lack of appearances on the calendar. I think as Clay progresses on TCA more will pop up. Didn't this rash of appearances come out of nowhere last week? It amazes me that when Clay gives his opinion on pop culture, it is quoted everywhere. :cryingwlaughter:

Good luck 00lsee. Hope it works out to a permanant job.

I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Maybe it's my computer but this reply box is really weird. The functions appear in the center of the box and the comments disappear behind it. Strange!!

Clip is up, not much about the men in this one, it's all about the women.

But then, this:

'Celebrity Apprentice': Where else are you going to see Clay Aiken wrestle Arsenio Hall? -- EXCLUSIVE VIDEO

Love it!

Clay also tweeted this, from this morning's appearance: VH1 Pass the Bowl Cute gif, and it will be interesting to see if whomever gets his question answers it RIGHT!

Oh, and this too: Video clip from VH1

This conversation was on Twitter; Scott Evan Davis is a singer-songwriter, musical director and performer..apparently he is working at this club and invited Clay to join him. He will be working with a teacher in Manhattan in June to write a musical with 10 autistic children:

I find this conversation intriguing and confusing. I have no idea who this guy is and how he is getting Clay to appear on this show but whatever, yay!
