Ok. Waving the white flag here. Hee I could be wrong in my assertion that someone from the show made these statements. I have admitted to suffering from the ICRS disease. LOL It still seems to me, though, that no matter who made them, they didn't just come up with that idea out of the blue. It had to of been based on something somebody said. I happen to agree with it, though. I also vaguely remember reading something about this as well. But remember I have that disease. *g*

I went to Pax's site where I saw the videos talking about this. There are two still there. But there was another one I saw a long time back that isn't. It must be in her archives now. I seemed to remember she had posted in red a warning about the content and the reason why she was allowing it to be posted. I would have to PM her and ask her, what it was, who said it, and where to view it. However, I really don't want to do that, but anybody who is interested could. That is the one where I thought someone from the show admitted the gay thing was why Clay wasn't allowed to win. I could very easily be wrong about that one as well.

The two I saw there, that discuss this issue are: The Etalks video from February 5th. The other one is the MSNBC video from April 4th. Scarborough Country talks about the AI vote rigging and Sanjaya. Ansamcw is right that these two videos are with Tom Oneil and is not someone from AI. At any rate. Sorry if I offended anyone or ruffled any feathers. I shouldn't of posted my opinion in the middle of someone else's rant. LOL Sorry.

I would much rather talk about the news of the day. UNICEF and Clay. Look at him go. I wonder how much got donated as a result of the short clip on GMA this morning? I think we will see much more coverage coming. I am not surprised at all. Really I'm not. I think a lot of it came from his fans and people wanting the autographs. That extra incentive makes people go crazy for Clay.

I hope the phone calls are flying and that someone from UNICEF is giving Clay updates about the fundraising totals wherever he is. I just can't wait for the next blog....

Oh gosh don't worry about it. We are all rather opinionated here...yours is just as welcome. As Couchie said... AI, specially AI2 is always goign to be a relevant topic to Clay cos that is his roots. That is so much history and as we saw this afternoon..still brings up lots of opinion and feelings. Anyway it is very very interesting to me...

but yeah...lots of great things happening in Clay land...

I have a feeling we will be seeing some videos too...can't wait.

BTW...here is FCA's UNICEF Afghanistan page...most of the new stuff are also on our front page but this is where all of them will be collected for easy referrence later on.

Stop it!! No need to apologize for having an opinion. And this is definitely an area with views across the spectrum. But I'm definitely a clack ho and believe me if those folks had ever admitted to anything I would have plastered it all over FCA.

I won't be making my donation until next week but eeeeeeeeee I'm so thrilled at how things are going.

I am going to see a woman named Neko Case---never heard of her, but my colleague here is a big fan and she just happens to be singing a block away from our hotel. $20 for a general admission ticket. My friend's description of her singing is "a kind of punk alternative country thing---she's opened for Merle Haggard before"

Awww... Those pictures are great, YSRN. I must confess, though I'm not typically a facial hair fan, I think he looks absolutely adorable here.

It's great that his fundraising drive has accomplished so much so quickly. I can just imagine what would happen if he were to actually get even more national exposure for this issue.

What, muski? You're NOT going to see Pen Boi? You haven't been so personally offended by Clay's touring schedule that you've thrown him over for JPL? I mean, JPL clearly cares since he came all the way to Albuquerque to perform for you!

Greetings again from beautiful sunny Florida! Spent a good hour at the beach today, once we finished off Kennedy Space Center. We're having so much fun!

Anyway, I'm just popping in to say that I'm very, very impressed with the media coverage of Clay's UNICEF work, and also impressed by how much money has been raised in just over 24 hours. I'm not planning on making my donation until next week, when I get home. I want those pictures, darn it!

Thank you YSRN for the pictures! Gah, he looks sooooooo good.

YSRN.........I need to go utilize my panini grill and fix hubby something to eat. You're a bad influence posting those gorgeous photos of Clay. I saw all the cute freckles. His face looks a little red, up close. I hope he didn't get sun burned.

Idyjocelyn I toured Kennedy Space Center last Summer. It was my favorite part of our Florida vacation. Such history. So interesting. The beach sounds great. It is raining here and we even had a small shower of hail. Winter is refusing to away.

Well, I was going to buy a new blouse for the wedding tomorrow, but I decided to go shopping in my closets instead. I guess that is found money. Idon't really need any more clothes anyway. People have commented on how it is funny that I have so many blouses that I wear good blouses to work around the house. I did just give away dozens of business suits, so maybe I can find a place to put the found money instead of filling my house with more stuff when I should be emptying it..

Lawd Jesus! My stupid hotel's internet was down and I was going nuts! Had to do some work (Can you beLIEVE the NERVE?!!?!) and then was looking forward to a night of nuttin but CLay and shooting the shit with y'all...I finally get on here and now have to go take a cold shower to get my mind out of the gutter. (for the chi'rren's sake)

Ambassador Porn. Yeah. That about does it.

But I'm snickering too as I look closely at those close ups. I bet Clay LOVES dressing like that. His beard is long and sort of unkempt. The mustache falls over that perfect bow of a top lip. His hair (FLOVE the highlights!) is a little greasy and not combed. I bet he's in lazy-assed heaven! :medium-smiley-070:

So...guess that really IS his true hair color, eh? The beard short hairs, I mean.

Speaking of short hairs...

No, I was talking about the chest hairs visible in the pic with the little girl--the first one we saw. Yep...their color matches previous descriptions in stories here and there. :hubbahubba:
