Oh lordy, the hands!!! I want to do another montage with the 'new look' but I need to find another song with 'hands' in the title. If'n anyone knows of a song with those lofty requirements, let me know. :)

When he starts caressing the mic, it does baaad things to me. Likewise, the running of the fingers through the oft-discussed hair. *sigh* He's a very sensuous man. Gifted in sooo many ways. *rawr*

by Bon Jovi.

If you're reay, I'm willing and able

Help me lay my cards on the table

You're mine and I'm yours for the taking

Right now the rules we made

Are meant for breaking

What you get ain't always

What you see

But satisfaction's guaranteed

They say what you give is always

What you need

So if you want me to

Lay my hands on you

Lay your hands on me

Lay your hands on me

Lay your hands on me

Lay your hands on me

Lay you hands on me

I'm a fighter, I'm a poet

I'm a preacher

I've been to school and

Baby, I've been the teacher

If you show me how to get

Up off the ground

I can show you

How to fly and never

Ever come back down

Everything you want

Is what I need

Satisfaction guaranteed

But the ride don't never ever

Come for free

If you want me to lay

My hands on you

Lay your hands on me

Lay your hands on me

Lay your hands on me

Lay your hands on me

Lay your hands on me

(solo)

Don't you know I only aim to please

If you want me to lay

My hands on you

Lay your hands on me

The Thompson Twins also have a song called Lay Your Hands on Me.

Put your hand in the hand of the man.... I'm havign a sunday school flashback.

The Beatles I Want to Hold Your Hand

I'm with Play - another head of hair will come along in the next five minutes. and like someone else every now and then I'd like the next bus to be speeding.

Love the fingers... but hmmm what is my favorite body part...will have to think on that for a moment.

Did I zapruder those photos when I got home to see if I'd managed to capture anything Clay might have had up his sleeve? Oh no....not me.... :whistling-1:

We have a poll for the DCAT pin design...

poll choices

scroll to the top of that page for the poll.

Hands song???

what about the pointer sisters Slow Hands...

Slow Hand

Pointer Sisters

As the midnight moon, was drifting through

The lazy sway of the trees

I saw the look in your eyes, lookin' into mine

Seeing what you wanted to see

Darlin' don't say a word, cause I already heard

What your body's sayin' to mine

I'm tired of fast moves

I've got a slow groove...

On my mind

I want a man with a slow hand

I want a lover with an easy touch

I want somebody who will spend some time

Not come and go in a heated rush

I want somebody who will understand

When it comes to love, I want a slow hand

On shadowed ground, with no one around

And a blanket of stars in our eyes

We are drifting free, like two lost leaves

On the crazy wind of the night

Darlin', don't say a word, 'cause I already heard

What your body's sayin' to mine

If I want it all night

You say it's alright

We got the time

'Cause I got a man with a slow hand

I got a lover with an easy touch

I found somebody who will spend some time

Not come and go in a heated rush

I found somebody who will understand

When it comes to love, I want a slow hand

If I want it all night

Please say it's alright

It's not a fast move

But a slow groove

On my mind

'Cause I got a man with a slow hand

I got a lover with an easy touch

I found somebody who will spend some time

Not come and go in a heated rush

I found somebody who will understand

When it comes to love, I want a slow hand

ldyj...here I was thinking all innocent thoughts about Karen eh?'s post...and now...your interpretation ...welllll!!!

May 27 2007, 08:09 AM.....I'm saving this. Somebody thought I made an innocent post. I might be able to stroll past St. Anthony's this morning and not have the heads pop off the statues. Ansamcw, you meant every word of that, right? Just want to check before I leave for my walk.

Yeah, Slow Hand...Ansamcw beat me to it.....oh and there was this Clay Aiken song once, I think it was called "Touch".....that might work. I wonder how many hundreds of times that one's been done before. Though being done again and again isn't always a bad thing.

Dang! I bet there's a great big crack in the limestone all the way around St. Anthony's neck right now...

When I went looking for hands pix I realized that I could write a whole narrative and use his hands alone to tell the story. I think there was a shot of every expression know to man....and a few of particular interest to women...in my collection.

This one seemed appropriate for a Sunday afternoon since I made a holy invocation followed by an 'Amen' as soon as I found it.

IMG_2114copy_1.jpg

Those same hands can be playful.

IMG_0992copy_1.jpg

Inquistive.

IMG_1122copy_1.jpg

Assertive...who WAS he pointing at here? Was she cremated? Like....on the spot...literally? Why am I transpoing the 'a' and the 'm' in that word?

IMG_1485B.jpg

And strong

IMG_2195_copy2.jpg

Or maybe that's a secret sign where he's telling me I need to get a grip. Yeah, that's it.....a secret sign.

OOH! bottlecap...Bon Jovi! Good one.

Heh...see, it's easy to get the conversation in a different direction, just by mentioning a different body part!

husker, I'd suggest "Hands to Heaven" by Breathe. Lyrics:

As I watch you move, across the moonlit room

There's so much tenderness in your loving

Tomorrow I must leave, the dawn knows no reprieve

God give me strength when I am leaving...

So raise your hands to heaven and pray

That we'll be back together someday

Tonight, I need your sweet caress

Hold me in the darkness

Tonight, you calm my restlessness

You relieve my sadness

As we move to embrace, tears run down your face

I whisper words of love, so softly

I can't believe this pain, it's driving me insane

Without your touch, life will be lonely

So raise your hands to heaven and pray

That we'll be back together someday

Tonight, I need your sweet caress

Hold me in the darkness

Tonight, you calm my restlessness

You relieve my sadness

Morning has come, another day

I must pack my bags and say goodbye...

And thank you ALL for the hands pictures. I've got quite a few of them on my bulging hard drive (heh), but there's some news ones there too. *sigh*

Oh, yeah, I'm a fan of the hands, alright. See my avi? So I'd never complain about that clip.

There are so many HAWT pics on this thread right now, but this one stopped me dead in my tracks:

Jnat2006WOW.jpg

WOW, Karen! That's a FANTASTIC pic. I don't remember seeing it before. I love the other pics, too, but that one is heart-stoppingly beautiful. I love the peaceful, thoughtful look on his face, the wonderful shirt & tie, the hair, the eyelashes, the stubble, the lighting, the HANDS - I could go on and on. I ADORE this pic. Thank you for posting it today!

Hey guys...so after saying I was going to be pro-active about chatting with my cousin I actually emailed her yesterday to remind her that I wanted to do this. She actually called me back today when I was out grocery shopping. Darnit. But yay hope to talk to her soon... and if I can't grab her this week it may be a couple of weeks because she just survived more cuts and is moving back to Burbank this coming Saturday. Geesh. If you want stability, the music biz ain't it. Anyway, in other intriguing developments she told my sister she's gonna try to make it to Vegas mid August to stay with us for the week - family vacation crap. heee. So if that happens I'll definitely get a lot out of her.Progress!

muski, look for the 60's medleys from Vermont. You should find it there. There's one in the CH vault by Okie4Clay that looks like it might be the right one.

Gawd, I love research.

Oh and there's a couple of others a very nice one by Solo and Scarlett, and another by SLC.

Wait a minute Darien Lakes is in New York! I sure screwed that up.....okay back to the drawing board.

But it still is damn fine video no matter what state it was in.

I seem to be in a state of disarray at the moment.

As you were.....I'll tidy up.

Do you think he will replace the rings he auctioned off? I miss the rings.

I've added some new song to the playlist on Rose Radio. The songs are from Ayla Brown, Blake Lewis, Embrace, Great Northern, Heather Headley, Jordin Sparks, Julianne Hough, Paul McCartney and Steve Larkman. On Tuesday you can read more about this week's selections on the Rose Radio blog.
