liney23
I love "silence" and "restless" in his low voice... GAH! There are a couple of places where his voice almost matches the guitar... nice I have gotten used to the techno part. I think it should have only been the first verse of each little part, tho. I love how he goes from techno to his own voice mid-note. LOVE the opportunity for him to hold a note fffoooeeevvveeerrr!!! I'm loving rockin' out to this song and singing along with the chorus! luckiest1
How many songs are we doing tonight? Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it tomorrow night, because I'll be at my mom's. Be kinda rude to get up and leave her for an hour and a half I think.

luckiest1
Yeah, I'm feeling a bit invisible too. Oh well, I'm lovin listening. I have so been wanting to listen/talk about these songs! I think it's just so hard to read and quote and listen and post all at the same time! I thought I was invisible until Gibby said I was being more smutty than usual. :F_05BL17blowkiss:

Cotton
I have hit replay on Fallin so many times it ain't funny. I have always thought it was about holding on to the past while still trying to survive in the present - never thought suicide at all! Living in this new world and trying to understand/grasp it, yet not quite letting go of what used to be . . the celebrity the anonymity of teaching two completely different worlds. Must be even more crazy than we can imagine!

jmh123
I strongly dislike the synthy thingie! I will so bring my JPOP collection to LA to techno-vert you!!!! L'Arc-En-Ciel rules!!!! Yes, yes, yes. L'Arc-En-Ciel is at the soft end of the "noise" music I was talking about. I have no idea what this song is about - what does fallen mean? Falling, not fallen. I never thought of this as depressing, just that life is carrying him away faster than he can keep up with. It's exhilerating but scary. Gibby
what's the jump between "edge" and then the chorus "I am falling..." Gibby? It goes from F up to E flat, so it's a minor 7th. Is that what you wanted to know? Big interval, but he nails it. Bigger intervals can be harder to sing in tune, but Clay has very little difficulty with intonation. muskifest
Are we on WIDTL? This is one I like but it hasn't grown on me yet. I don't like the chorus---too much like "When You SAy You Love Me" from MOAM and I do NOT like that song...too country-ish. This is just an okay song for me...I'll see if anybody's analysis or observations can make me feel or hear something to ratchet it up a notch...
