I can't deny that I like Clay with a little darker shades to his eyelashes and eyebrows. And even his hair. The color is perfect now in the Timeless Tour. His photos are all breathtaking. He may be a natural light redhead, but the colorlessness of the T&T Tour poster washes him out too much, for my tastes.

I got to NJ today. Staying with playbiller.Tomorrow I'll be having lunch with a childhood friend, who I haven't seen since high school, a looong time ago. Wednesday and Thursday back to the tour. Coming home Sunday. I have two brothers, both of whom I would like to see. One, I haven't seen for 10 years. I'm really shocked to see how badly the economy has affected NJ. A lot of stores closing, streets littered with garbage, empty restaurants.

I haven't seen the show since Asheville, so it'll be interesting to see how things have evolved. I hope those of you going to the last show have a ball.

We don't want to have a spat about this, now do we? I think he wants to see me again. He remembers me from the front row before. I know, I know, you were on the front row too, but you were admiring his threads, while I was admiring other things. He noticed.

Couchie, it's not over. Maybe some multiples opportunities will pop up. This is supposed to be 30 cities, at least, I hear. I'm going to Dallas for sure. Even though it's in the most critical work week of the year for me. It's why I couldn't go to Raleigh on March 12. The same thing for March 8, 2011. I don't now how I'm going to do it, but being that it's on a Monday should enable me to go to Dallas, without lying about it. Of course, if I have to, I have to. This is Clay in Texas, y'all. I now know my price, apparently.

Oh, but the reason I'm here after vowing to get some sleep after just one more clack download, is something that I feel strongly about. I felt a spiritual obligation to come here to testify. I don't know if anybody else in this world sees what I see when I watch Clay. I have no idea. But Sister came here to tell you that Clay singing Still The One in Lancaster has met all her needs. Watching that clack tonight was a bewitching, bothering and bewildering experience.

mm mm mm what he has become. I mean, if you don't watch that clack you are spiritually bereft, sorry to say. I hope you will get to your knees for whatever you need to be thankful for tonight. Amen.

Bringing over Claymatron's Chautauqua M&G recap from CV:

The five of us OFC Meet and Greet people found each other at the rear porch of the Amphitheater at Chautauqua about 10 minutes before we were scheduled to go in to meet Clay. We were all giddy and nervous and excited, of course. There was Jennifer, Lynne (waves to Lindy500), Marie-Anne, Megan and myself. Megan, Marie-Anne and I are all Canadians and I knew them both, Jennifer was from Pittsburgh, and Lynne, from Cleveland. There were three lots of M & G groups and ours, from the fanclub, was the last one...and they got a late start.

Finally, Jerome called our names and we followed him into a long narrow corridor and were told to sit down and relax (yeah, sure!) wait until they were ready for us. It gave us a little time to get to know each other and we were really an amazing cross-section (age-wise) of Clay fans. Each decade was represented, from Megan in her twenties to me in my sixties...but in that room we were all like a bunch of excited school girls waiting for our date to arrive for our first prom. We talked a little about the questions we were going to ask him and Megan actually had a list of them on her cell phone. Too cute.

Eventually, Cheryl, Clay’s assistant, came and took us upstairs to another larger room and again we sat down in a row and waited for Clay. By this time the anticipation was almost over-whelming, but eventually we could hear voices and knew he was close.

People have said that when Clay enters a room, it becomes energized. I didn’t believe it, but even dressed casually in a yellow plaid shirt, cargo shorts and his laceless sneakers, you are aware that you’re in the presence of - I was going to say a “Star”, but it’s not that, it’s something special, something magical almost, but the perfect word alludes me. Anyway, initially, he was a wee bit formal, but still friendly. After he asked our names and where we were from, he relaxed completely, and so did we, for the most part. He commented on the fact that it was strange that there was only one Canadian at the Windsor (which is in Canada) M & G the night before, but three of us at Chautauqua, NY. I mentioned that we knew the Canadian at the Windsor M & G and he said that was because Canada was such a small country everybody knew each other...then he winked. I said, no, it was because we all get together for Cluncheons regularly and watch videos of him and eat. He repeated the word "Cluncheon" and sort of rolled his eyes and said watching himself on video that would put him off his food. LOL! I said we all had strong constitutions...and he laughed. He said he would answer questions while he signed whatever it was we wanted autographed, asked that everyone repeated and spelled their names for him so he wouldn’t screw up. When he got to me, I said... Bev..B..E..V, he looked up, and snarked that he had figured that one out himself. Beside me and last in the row was Megan, a tall, gorgeous, shapely, 25 year old, who was so enamored of Clay I thought she was going to faint. He had been signing “Use your voice” on all his autographed items, but she asked him to sign “I love you” which he did. I doubt she will ever be the same! She also had some cute questions..like what side of the bed he preferred? (I think she was hoping that it would be for future reference, )

He said he was an equal opportunity sleeper and that he slept on his stomach and demonstrated that he didn’t sleep with his head on the pillow, but sort of had it tucked under his arm near his chin. He had us laughing and completely relaxed and when he had to leave to get ready for the show, you could tell he would like to have stayed with us longer. We each got hugged and our photos taken with him and he told us our group had really put him in a good mood and thanked US profusely! Then he was gone.

Sigh!

Megan, and her three cute young friends, were in the front row of the concert later and he flirted with them, and especially her, throughout the show.

As I said, she will never be the same, I was standing right behind her, and neither will I!

I have an almost 87 year old very good and long time friend. I told her to watch Clay's PBS special Sunday night. Today she sheepishly tells me she turned it off after awhile cause she wanted something with more of a beat and she was bored... BWAH!!! I told here we'd play in YouTube next time I come to visit and I'd get her beat for her. What a riot!

Clay Aiken Concert

Monday, March 7 at 8 pm at Minglewood Hall, Memphis TN, venue seating 1,500

This member ticket offer is available by calling the WKNO Membership Office at 1-800-895-8810 or 901-325-6565 during business hours CDT.

WKNO has a total of 200 tickets. This includes 30 for a Meet & Greet.

All donations should be on a major credit card (American Express, Discover, MasterCard or Visa)

$250 -- 2 Tickets include a Meet & Greet and DVD of the concert (Single ticket for Meet & Greet at $125 each)

$200 -- 2 Tickets and DVD of the concert (Single ticket at $100 each)

All WKNO ticket holders will be permitted early entry for this general admission seated concert.

Tickets and instructions for early entry and Meet & Greet for concert will be sent to donors about one (1) month prior to concert.

Just returned from an afternoon and a half of teaching lessons. The parking lot is being redone for the start of school; but, fortunately, I could still park on the side. What a hot day for parents and students to have to walk from the lower lot!
