Maybe just as well Faye doesn't get a pin. I sure wouldn't want to be the one to explain it to her!

Hee, yes you did.....so how come when someone else talks about Clay (and in this case, doing Clay!), my mom thinks they're normal, but if I so much as sit down at my laptop for two freaking minutes, I am obsessed? :P

Hey...that "Hello Sailor" thing doesn't seem so far fetched. My hubby just called to tell me that the mold removal guy said we shouldn't move back in until Wednesday. That's two more nights in the motel. $$$$$$

crap. Again, I say this: I'm VERY, VERY glad that all my Clay-related activities are already paid for; otherwise, there's no way in any rational universe that I would/should be going to any of them...

I never buy lottery tickets. I think I'm going to buy a lottery ticket today. :scream:

So, if you don't have a meet and greet, how do you get a pin to the "staff", shall we say?

If I have my pin for Frisco, I would donate one of mine to the cause. I am sure there will be other donees.

We could make up little cards for the event with names of the participants and post the pins on them. I am sure that they will understand that this pin in in memory of when D'Cat used to tour with Clay - what? That is not what this pin means? Oh, blink, blink, blink

I have an ankle bracelet! I have no clue where it is, but I have one. I used to wear it all the time. Wonder what happened to that sucker?

Soooo, I was over at the OFC earlier today, and I ventured into the thread about a Clay sighting (Inherit the Wind?) which had apparently degenerated into people questioning the mods, and getting nasty.....it was eventually locked for editing......the natives are getting restless again.

I hope we get a blog or a press release or an ET leak or something between now and the 4th. :Tour3:

I forgot in my massive missive yesterday to talk about allergies -- and to say I really can't help. I've been an allergic mess since I was a kid (Hey! Clay and I have a connection!), and I take prescription strength Allegra D every day. I'm also subjecting myself to a round of allergy desensitization shots. I think after 6 months it's starting to work. (This is a LONG process).

Another allergy-sufferer steps forward - ldyjocelyn we share a decongestant-connec-shun (does that sound like Schoolhouse Rock to anyone but me? *g*) My sinuses were np until my early 20's until my allergies kicked in and because of the freakish narrowing of the bones in my nose (I know, TMI, sorry :blush: ), I am really susceptible to sinus infections if I don't take the Allergra-D daily. They want to do shots but the $10/month I pay for the Allegra-D is so much less painful, literally, than the shots. I am an admitted shot-wienie.

Then if you trace taht person back, you see them posting other partial rumors. We are such trusting people - trust no one! learn from Mulder.

Right. But it ended up the same way as before - the mods made a decision, people started questioning it and complaining about it....so it got locked. I didn't read through it all, and I'm sure she may have started the thread with the intention to cause problems. But people took the bait.

I always admired Mulder both for his 'trust no one' motto and his love of soft porn...LOL...Seriously, it takes two to argue. I don't understand how people can keep getting baited this way. If the stuff is bothering you or you don't agree...whatevah...walk away. To quote a wise man, "IGNORE."

I know, late to the discussion, but the thing about giving and or explaining the DCAT pin to Faye, or any other family member, or Clay and his very own member for that matter...I sort of always thought of the pins as a fan/message board thing. I never pictured the pins as something that Clay or his family would have interest in because they would have no strong ties to any of the boards the pins originated at. I imagine some, like the The Way We Make A Difference pins, that are given for ticket donation, or some other that might have a broader appeal than for just one board, might hold some interest, but really, I sort of see the fandom and Clay's family like I see the separation between church and state. They can appreciate one another and respect one another, but they function best independent of each other.

(btw, bug squishy hugs to bottlecap for my DCAT pin :F_05BL17blowkiss:)

(bwahhhh! that's BIG squishy hugs bottlecap...I wouldn't stick a real squished bug on ya, really! *muah*)

I'm probably the only one who doesn't think that Clay needs another male back up singer. In fact, I'd rather he didn't get one. To me, the whole clash of egos thing just doesn't make it worth it. And I think he sounds just fine without one. In fact, he sounded just fine on the JNaT without any back up whatsoever. Not that I don't like Angie and Quiana - I do. I'm looking forward to the fun they will get up to this summer. I watched the Happy Together bit from the JBT in AC yesterday and was cracking up at the antics - Clay really bit into Angela's hand, hard enough to not let her pull it back anyways, and then it looked like he was exerting some effort to keep both of them in a head lock to the end of the song.

I decided really quickly that Jacob isn't my type. First, I don't find him physically attractive at all and would go so far as to put him in the 'schmarmy' category. Gives me the heebie-jeebies. I was gonna pipe in on the whole "Clay sighting" post at the OFC but thought nah, I'm better off waiting to read/hear some controversy involving something more than a glass of chardonnay & a male friend. I guess if I were to get pissed off about anything it would be the fact that they reported he didn't tip!! That's where I went ouch!
