I don't think I have actually EVER posted here. But someone nudged me, who shall remain anonymous...(!) so here goes... (be gentle).

If there is ANYone on the fence (as it were) about seeing SPAMALOT, and/or simply MUST go again, and is holding back because they need someone to split the hotel costs with... (keep reading!)

I'm going to be there for the period of April 10-12, and am looking for a buddy for maybe at least one night in NY? or two? A little sightseeing, a second or third show... (duh) I have a ticket for the 10th already.

I'm trustworthy and loyal (really - I've been "with" Clay since the beginning... :D), I like purple, and most people find me acceptable. Honest.

Anyway, please PM me if interested.

Upon looking mumbly82timesmumbly at the soft, powder blue, hooded attire that Clay seems to be donning, I do believe my eye sees it as a hooded bathrobe. Yes, that's right, with nothin underneath. I don't see a sweatshirt at all. Do you think I need my eyes checked? :unsure:

I don't know. I lightened up a bit and I can't tell if they have laces or if its just seaming on the boot. Surely someone in the Clay Nation will soon find what boots they are, who made them etc. and then we will know fore sure.

BUT...for your own self-respect, dignity, and blood pressure, I vote for hitting pause next time she comes in, turning to her and saying, "Yes, honey, did you need something?" and not resuming watching until she leaves the room. If she asks why, tell her this is something you prefer to watch by yourself, but if there's something else she'd like to watch, you'll turn that on and watch that with her, instead. If she bugs you to turn it back on, you can always turn it all the way off, get up and say something like, "No, I need to go (to the bathroom, get a snack, do something else) right now. I'll watch it later." Or say, "No, I'd rather talk to you. How's it going?"

She has no right to spoil your enjoyment (and she must know by now how her attitude toward Clay bothers you) and since you can expect her to behave that way, I say refuse to give her that opportunity. When my kids are mean, if I scold them for it, I say, "That can't feel good inside when it sounds so rotten from the outside"...your daughter may be being mean on purpose, for whatever reason, but it can't feel really good for her to do that, so in a way, you're sparing her from being mean and then feeling crummy about it, even if she got some satisfaction out of it at the time. Spare her and spare yourself. Push pause. I don't share Clay with those who can't/don't/won't appreciate him. To me, that's like taking back my power and redirecting their negative energy away from a sore spot that has the potential to really hurt me.

Well, Shakolot - I don't know how much I can trust you if you don't count your posts, a serious violation of not advancing from dog walker to body guard - most people really want to be a body guard, especially if he is not wearing under garments. [/snerk]

Iwish I could buy your tickets, I am going to the show just a few days before this (bought a long long time ago.) and I have been informed I need to start saving money for a summer tour. Ya think?

Those feet coverings are sooo kewl, no matter if they are boots or shoes, but I'm guessing boots since they are being worn with jeans. AND, they fit... they are not 3 inches too long. I knew it would happen. Spamalot in shoes that fit for better dancing made him realize he really doesn't need to have shoes 3 inches too long to be comfortable. I LOVE those boots!

That's because the hair in sideburns and beards are a different texture. I don't know what the scientific explanation is, maybe cause it's growing on the face not the scalp or maybe because it is short . My son who has soft reddish blond hair has sideburns that are red and wiry and those few times he has had a beard it's been the same.

I wonder what's the texture of Clay's chest hair is. mmmm
