That was a great interview on the Indy station...talking about chicken file (have no idea how to spell it and the difference between mayonnaise and salad dressing. DJ asked about Raleigh and Clay talked about how she would crap on the floor in hotel rooms and he would just old his breath till morning because he didn't feel like getting up to clean it up...he didn't care as long as she didn't do it on the bed, LOL! Also talked about Unchained Melody and being on The View and Clay said he asked Whoopie to re-enact that scene with him but she refused. It was a great interview and pretty funny..I listened live...hope it will be vaulted or on the website so you can all hear.

On a different matter...

OK, so the listening party tonight isn't going to happen. I've been either too busy chasing around news of Clay this week (enjoyable job) or actually WORKING at my job (not quite as enjoyable, but it pays the bills). So, I was talking to couchie the other night, and I think instead of a listening party, it's going to be a "song of the day" thing. If I remember right, we did this with OMWH.

Beginning Monday, June 7, I'll post the "song of the day" on the main thread. We'll go in album order, so that means it will be "Can't Take My Eyes..." for that day. During that 24 hours (or so, I'm not going to be incredibly picky), post your reactions to that particular song. I know, some of you are like "I don't do in-depth." That's fine. In my case, and probably some others, I'll use it as a chance to listen to the song over and over a few times, and then enumerate what makes the song special for me. This will also be a good time for you to ask questions about a song, if you have them. On June 8, we'll go to the next song, and so on through the entire album (including bonus tracks).

Sound OK to everyone? If you want to participate, cool. If not, that's cool too. We'll still talk about how dweemy Clay is here as well. *g*

Thanks so much for the cap, kimiye! I found synopses of several radio interviews at CV. Since it's a private board and content specific to that board I didn't bring them over, but go over and read them! He's in fine form, even at that hour, and no yawning. A couple have been vaulted and there will be more to come. I don't think any except the one link we already have are available online yet.

Thanks--that's why I'd always rather hear the details if I'm going to hear anything. It isn't that bad--makes her look worse than Clay. I was worried he lost his temper or something. How anyone can answer the same questions all day long and remain entertaining I will never know.

Checking in to wish everyone a good weekend and say that I'm satiated from all the edible delights of this past week! I hope it continues into the coming weeks but I may miss much of it since I will be without any internet access for awhile

Once I get moved and hooked up again I hope to find a lot to catch up on. I am really hoping to comeback to find more tv appearances. A girl can dream!

I also hope to participate in the "song of the day" thing when I get back on line. In the meantime I'll just have to make do with my newest visions of my fucking gorgeous bf and his pipes of perfection.

tree... if there is a library near you, check out the computer situation. You may be able to get here that-a-way until things settle for you.

I think my new computer is going to get ordered soon (regular soon). Mine was slow, so IT looked at it and didn't understand why it was still running and since I do critical work on proposals, I think it's finally going to get in the queue. I'm kinda scared, tho, cause it will have Windows 7 and everything will be differenct until I get everything learned. I do get a new 22" monitor, tho and I can't wait to see Clay on that during my lunch time. Whoo hoo!!!

Heh, somehow I knew his blog would be about this. (I'm thinking the next one will be for the Bringing Broadway Home show ;-)

I hope they find some way to let the folks who don't watch daytime tv know that he has a CD out. This time around I purposely didn't mention the CD to any of my non-Clay friends/family/etc - and not one single person has mentioned it to me. And believe me, these folks never, ever miss an opportunity to mention him to me. I realize that's probably not that unusual for Canada, but my good friend who lives in North Carolina (and works in a large office where her fandom is renowned) has had the same experience. Not one person has mentioned it or him to her except to comment that he wasn't on the AI finale.

Hopefully the PBS airings will help with that down the road. Meantime, I honestly can't see how he/they could expect more of a first week than this.
