I watched that group sing and didn't particularly think Clay was focusing below the neck, but I sure have seen plenty of other times that he has. He was always laying his head on someone's chest and they weren't male chests... :cryingwlaughter:

One of the problems I have with YouTube is the low resolution - it's fairly clear in my m2v clips...

yup...what a hug!!!!GAH!!! Look at that smile on his face...

That is the two best reason for AI's existence...oh add Carrie in the mix too I guess...hee.

Play totally agree with you on the Pure Idiots...glad they showed their true nature before Clay got further involved with them.

I would love to know just how and when he does have input
Why, what a coincidence! So would I!

In fact, I've spent considerable hours trying out different possibilities about Clay's input.

Muski... BWAH!!!! :cryingwlaughter:

You have such a one-track mind!

I do recall an episode of The Early Show with Clay and Giselle Bunchen where Clay appeared to sneak glances at Miss Bundchen.

Yeah, and he scooted his toy trucks and himself over closer to her too. And don't forget Britney on Kimmel--he might've been putting her down, but it didn't stop him from gawking at her boobies.

Thanks for the YouTube link of Time of My Life. Puts a big smile on my face going out the door here.

You know, as much as people would like to think checking out a woman's boobs makes a man straight or gay, in my experience, it's just never that simple. Otherwise, my girlfriend's husband wouldn't have left her and their two boys after 11 years saying he was tired of living a lie and gone off with his male lover and my brother, an openly gay man for a good thirty years now, wouldn't have been engaged to be married when he was in his twenties. It's just one of those things that you can't tell by 'looks'. The converse is true as well. I've known some men with highly effeminate qualities to be women lovin' fools. It's truly one of those things that only that person knows in their own heart and in their own mind.

...speaking of which, I love Clay Aiken's heart and mind....and his voice and his eyes, and his hair...most of the time...and his feet...even when they're being disrespectful...and his eyelashes, and his stubble...and

I wish I had the means to fly to Kansas for the first concert, because I would be there in a second if I could. Unfortunately, the church's stance is all too common, I've heard of churches close to home with the same policies. Luckily there are also some churches who are much more open. Regardless, I would attend that concert in a NY minute if I could, because it's Clay. My money is going to support him, whereever he is booked - casino, church, outdoor festival, etc etc. From what I've heard, it sounds like a cool venue with great acoustics. And I think it would be cool to hear him sing Christmas songs in a church. I don't think he has to buy into their particular brand of religion just to perform in their venue. I'm sure he's seen it all before, too.

wheeeeeeeeeee! top of the freakin' page!!!!! i'm so lucky!

You're right. This is why I was focusing on the Wildcard clip (and it has to be a particular one; there are 2 versions). Just looking at something (no matter how often you're caught doing it) is safely "within the line." OTOH, running a hand along someone's thigh is stretching the "not really a pig" image though, yeah, it could've been an accident from being "overcome with anxiety." LOL :F_05BL17blowkiss:

The Wildcard results show was the first AI2 episode I tuned in for, and I remember my first thought about him was "That is the most touchy-feely guy I've ever seen in my LIFE!" That was my first thought because I had yet to hear him sing a note. It didn't seem sexy at the time, it seemed needy. But now it seems like extreme tactile sensuality. He can't help it. And that's a VERY good thing.

I have not heard this one before.

OH gosh his voice sounds so good!!! Why did it have to be a duet!!!

This must be hometown connection days..when he was singing with the country group? Sounds like a CCM song to me.

That song is from one of his Hometown Connection shows, I believe. The lady singing with him is Pam Shanley (or something that sounds like that). I lurve that song. Have it on a CD of duets in my car.

ETA: Correction: The lady singing is Melanie Horton. Pam Shandley sings with him on "Healing."

<snip>

Oh, jazzgirl, it really has little to do with a one-tracked mind. I'm just doing my job 'round here. :whistling-1:;)

Here we go. New week. Busy week at work. New boss starts today. She seems nice (from my very brief interaction with her at the staff retreat last week.)...we'll see.

I listened to the whole WPB concert yesterday as I drove around San Francisco Bay between daughters' sporting events and then again this morning on the way to work. Sigh. I loved that concert. All three of them were in FINE voice that night.

Sigh. I miss his concerts already. That's silly. But I do. :lilredani:

Not silly at all. I love the tours for all the obvious reasons but also because there is that connection over an extended period of time. Non-tour time is just like the offseason. *sigh*

This summer was a heady time. Just sayin'.

Some of us...have the day off! :lipstick:

eta...I have now o'fishaly edited the shit out of this very short post. Gadz I'm anal.

Thank you SO much for bringing that over! Probably not that great to be teared up practically first thing on a Monday holiday morning, but what the hey....it's Clay!

Is there anyone that might be able to rip the audio of that, or provide the audio? I've never heard it before either and I would love to add it to my collection, duet or no. It's beautiful.

Done, merrieeee, thanks so much for the offer! Eeeeeehhh!! Is it crazy that the best thing about this weekend is going to be a new track of Clay's for my Zen?? No?? I thought not.

...and it's actually been a great weekend!

I'm off shortly to an art studio tour that is taking place around here this weekend...yesterday I did a bit of housecleaning but spent most of the day working on my pics from my Maritimes trip and doing some jewellery-making, and of course hanging out here.

Bought the new (fairly new) Enrique Iglesias CD "Insomniac" from Itunes and have been enjoying that...great for Clay fantasies! It's durrrrrty!

Saturday I spent quite a bit of the day and quite a bit of my money at a bead show in the city; does anyone here do lampwork? I'm addicted to the beads...may have to take some classes.

I agree, WPB has to be one of the best ever. He never sang better, Q&A never sounded better, he looked fantastic, the venue was gorgeous, the acoustics superlative, and the banter hilarious. I loved the banter with the sleeping husband and his precious facial expressions. And then there was TWYMMF!

And at the busline with Scarlett that night ~~ he gave me the best hand ever. In fact, it was so fine that it made up for walking back to the hotel with bare feet and a broken toe over gravel and railroad tracks. You know the old "I'd crawl over cut glass thing?" ... it was pretty close. But I don't know that I've ever had that much fun legally in my entire life! Even the seafood was legal ... and delicious!
