Here is a fun BIRTHDAY CALCULATOR to email to someone who is having a birthday.

I inserted Clay's birthdate, then I inserted Parker's, and according to this calculator, this time last year, he hadn't quite been conceived!

I was amazed that it said that Clay's Life Path Number was #3, rather than #2!!!! :imgtongue:

Well, supposedly Clay's name is no longer on the RCA artist page. RCA Artists Webpage

It took a long time for that page to load for me, so that's why I wrote "supposedly"; however, I now have the page open and

Yep--no Clay Aiken in the alphabetical list.

Guess lots of people got their wish re: evil RCA. RCA and Clay are no longer strange bedfellows.

heh.

Surely that can't be the total list of their artists...the list is so short. Where are the rest of them?

If you go to RCA Home page You will find Clay there under New Releases.

WOW! This is really interesting that he is under new releases but not artists because there are people on that artist list who's most-recent release are well before Clay's. Makes you wonder what is going on....

Muski... so sorry things didn't work out quite as planned and I hope you get your credit card back. sounds like you have had quite an adventure!

Couchie... I have also had luck using Gold Bold for insect bites on burns (because it has an ingredient that is cooling) and also the Neosporin Cream with pain relief. That stuff has got me thru a number of bad cuts and minor burns.

OMG that photo is BEAUTIFUL!!!! :-)

nevermind....Clay's still all over the RCA website...You know, along with the salt-covered baked potato and green beans I had at the Outback last night, this Salt Lick while reading fan 'sightings' has me in sodium overload. And I usually have LOW blood pressure, too! :cryingwlaughter:

Re: credit card...At least it's safe. I'll be driving soon to pick it up. whew!

Now y'all stop right now! It's Monday and I have to actually WORK from now on...enough of this chitter chatter about some young thang who doesn't even know I exist....

I'll be back.

Not sure what's going on out there... but I did hear about Jerome's message. And all I have to say is dude... nothing I can do about grown folks and tell the Shubert to throw their asses out. But I'm not flying across the country for stage door so won't be put out if he doesn't do it.

It's Monday already? crap. I'm supposed to be at work in 6 minutes but just woke up? Crap again.

So doesn't Clay have some sort of interview this week?

I used to cringe every time Jerome passed on a request from Clay, knowing the harshness against Clay that would be boiling up like smelly gas from the mud pits at Rotorua.

But familiarity has bred hilarity. In fact, I think there should be a prize awarded to whoever can use "fucking" and "Clay" (or variations thereof) the most, in a non-sexual manner, in one post. It is sorta like watching a disembodied frog leg twitch when an electrode is applied.

Of course, perhaps my sense of humor has taken a dark turn, because if I were Jaymes, I would have one room at my house and at Clay's house covered entirely with fringe, and make sure that's where all pictures are taken. And maybe have a box full of fringey props to drape around Parker's room, too. Although that would be rewarding with attention, gotta think about that.

I really appreciate the continuing recaps - who knew that Spam would turn out to be like a soap opera? Good guys, bad guys, threat of cancellation, cancellation - who knew Broadway would be so dramatic in FRONT of the stage? Bwah!

I have to say that I've arrived at this point too. Entitlement and fake outrage have gotten to be an ongoing black comedy.

I just like to celebrate!

A year ago today I was flying to Las Vegas for the ice skating event. Boy how time flies.

What a gorgeous day out! I just went for a walk, and with the snow all melted now, and the leaves still semi on the trees, plus the squirrels running around, it feels like spring, not fall.

That *is* a yummy sd pic! Along with that impudent, curly nape hair (00lsee, ya still breathing, honey?!) it's also a profile shot and I lurve Clay's profile. :flirtysmile3:

Other than that, I got nothin'. It's Monday & I'm suffering from caffeine withdrawl, so approach me at your own risk! :98:

I have heard that licking one's laptop monitor does not produce any serious negative long term problems with the computer but it does however make one feel warm and tingly inside!!! At least that is what I've been told! :whistling-1:

In another first in a career entering it-s sixth decade, the legendary singer/songwriter Neil Sedaka is set to release his first ever children's album on Razor & Tie Entertainment on January 6th, 2009. WAKING UP IS HARD TO DO, which also includes a coloring book, is a collection of classic Neil Sedaka hits that have been reinvented as children's songs. The album brings Sedaka into the world of children's music, a genre he has not taken on before.

<snip>

Neil is currently in the studio working on a new album and just collaborated with Grammy winning Producer David Foster on his first ever salsa tune which Neil sings in both English and Spanish.

WAKING UP IS HARD TO DO track listing:

6. Laughter In The Rain

7. Rubber Duckie

8. Is This The Way To Cross The Street?

Goldarngirl and I and some other friends saw Neil at Casino Rama in September of this year, and he mentioned this album and sang a bit of "Waking up is Hard". It sounds like a fun album indeed, and something Parker should definitely have.

ETA:

4. Love will keep us together.

I'm sure that if Clay were to sing these words, no truer words could ere be sung. :sleezy:

Hey, Muski, thanks for posting about your travel adventures! You tell a good story, so it's been fun to read about them. Hopefully you've actually had as much fun in your travels as I've had reading about them. :) And best of luck with your conference!

Just watched this awesome and fun montage - I recommend it highly! Heeeee - a little bit of the montage made me think about Bottle.

And, I was reminded of this, too:

Ok, in some circles it is being taken as gold that Clay has been dropped by RCA because he isn't on the "Artists" page. But, he's still there! If you just click on "Artists" from the main page he's not. But neither are most of their artists! There are only 21 of them on that page. But if you go to the drop down menu at the top of the page he's listed - along with 58 others. Should the 38 artist that aren't showing up on the "Artists" page worry that they have been dropped?? For that matter, when was the last time Clay was on that main "Artists" page?

I know many WANT him to no longer be with RCA but he IS still listed as one of their artists! Frankly, unless he left RCA to be signed by another label, I would HATE for him to be dropped by RCA. Imagine how that would be spun!

Yep..but Clay would be snapped up just like that don'tchaknow. do we have a rolls eyes emoticon? :cryingwlaughter: Wonder if fake clay is still on the loose.

I don't care if Clay leaves RCA of his own volition but would never want to see him dropped. I'd deal and he would too but don't want to see it happen.

I think if Clay were dropped by RCA it would be all over the news. That boy sneezes wrong and it seems to make news. <g> Not to mention the fact that RCA dropping him so soon after him coming out would be...controversial, I think.

ETA: Yeah, couchie, I think he would be snapped up quickly for sure, if it were true.
